Reason for joining the Empire: He was seeking revenge for an old friend. He thought he could get back at the pirates responsible for his friend's death best through joining the Empire.

History: Sokudo grew up in his best friends family. After he's parents died in a horrible accident with a trap in the catacombs of Shawkan his friend's family adopted him. They were like brothers, better than even. When they came of age, they saved up enough money to buy a ship and some weapnary then started hiring themselves out as a bounty huntery/mercenary team.

On one of the missions they were being paid to take down the head of one of the many pirating rings that were preying upon innocents in the outer rim. After they had completed the job and taken him out they started to be on they're way out, but got in a scrap with what remained of the pirate forces. His friend, and brother, for life, alas did not make it out with him. So Tokumei Senka made a vow to avenge his brother's death by joining the Empire and wiping out as many pirates and rebels as they would allow him.
