The Navy High Command Field Deployment Group: Alpha Squadron is the offical starfighter group into which high ranking Navy officals are assigned should they decide to venture out in a starfighter. While this is uncommon, it is not unheard of. These officers needed callsigns by which to be designated in battle and thus Alpha Squadron was born.
