Road Map[edit]

As a member of the Stormtrooper Corps, it important to know your current role and how you may best perform in that capacity. It is also of import to consider how you may best serve the Army throughout your membership in it. While this will be determined primarily by the activity, resourcefulness, maturity and dependability you exhibit, your approach to your future goals as a Vast Empire member are also a factor.

Many members come in only to participate, but never chose to accept a leadership role. Due to the constraints of real life activities we can certainly accept that. Others wish to fast track themselves into an officer's position. While not entirely realistic, it has been known to happen; but only to the most motivated and talented individuals.

With that in mind, let us address the sections that will over time be covered by this section:

Recruit - Filling out forms and sending an email got you this far. From here on out we expect you to try to remember just a bit more than your password. There are three phases of development to advance past Drill squad.

Assistant Squad Leader - You may start out as a Fire Team leader working with two or three other troopers in achieving a mission goal. You may have performed admirably in an understrength squad and been given a reward for excellent activity levels. Whatever the reason, the result is that you are now being trusted to lead others and to monitor their performance. Here is where you start to see where the fun stops and the paperwork begins (sorry, but I refuse to sugar coat it).

Squad Leader - It does not matter what rank or position someone has, except for this: Squad Leaders are the center of all activity in the Stormtrooper Corps. There is no single position that holds more responsibility for or control of the success of the Vast Empire army. It is imperative to keep on top of things, to know what is expected of you, and to raise the activity levels of the Corps to the highest it can be.

Officer Candidates - It gets lonely at the top. It also gets tedious and overly laden with paperwork. Do not expect a lot of action at this level of the game. Instead, once you become an officer, it is your duty to find ways to create fun and activity for those both new to the Corps as well as the current membership. This is by no means easy, but it is a necessary task to ensuring that the Vast Empire will be around for others to enjoy further down the line.
