History[edit]

The Divinity was ordered by Jikkyo Nimiichi during the year 8ABY utilizing the majority of the funds from his long untouched savings from the sale of his estate on Dantoonie and years as a mercenary. It was custom-built to suit his specifications for usage as a mobile headquarters for his former compatriots, The Triumvirate. They have since set up shop and run the ship all across the galaxy for smuggling, intelligence, and other shady dealings.

The Divinity orbiting Osk91

While crewed entirely by Triumvirate underlings, the vessel remains the personal property of Jikkyo Nimiichi, and thus must heed his beck and call. With it's unusual hull design, accommodating a hangar, the Triumvirate leaders can come and go as they please.

It was recently made a part of the Osk Company fleet when Jikkyo folded the Triumvirate Faction into the Pirate conglomerate. Financial difficulties made this move a necessity. Beyond that, the motiviation appears to have been a long awaited reunion with his on and off lover/fiancee, Kami Sharpe.

Modifications[edit]

The CR90 has been heavily modified, earning it's "m" prefix. The modifications were made to allow for ultimate flexibility in combat and also the ability to escape when outmatched. The ion cannons were added after production when Jikkyo decided to join the brigands at Osk Company. It's speed, reported near 102 MGLT is nearly unmatched by any other CR90, making it the perfect vessel for a travelling criminal organization. This speed, combined with a six fighter complement (or a single light freighter) allows the vessel to fight or flee at it's own volition.

However, the hull and shields remain standard, a forced option as the required Power Core would have eaten up all remaining cargo space. This means that while the increased fire power can let the Divinity slug it out with larger ships, it's Captain must use it's speed and size to his advantage to avoid disastrous results.

Additional internal modifications were made to convert the fourth level to a private deck. Only Jikkyo and Kami have the codes to access the deck. It contains a meditation chamber, training room, and luxurious quarters.

Internal Deckplans for the Divnity
  • Internal and External hull modifications for 6x fighter capacity hangar bay
  • Addition of a Class 8 backup hyperdrive for reliability
  • Enhanced Military-grade Power Core for additional armaments/engine upgrades
  • Upgraded Weapons
    • x2 Dual Turbolasers on "Hammerhead"
    • x2 Dual Turbolasers on dorsal and ventral Hulls (x2 total on each)
    • x4 Ion Cannons replaced the Taim & Bak H9 single turbolasers (x4 dorsal turrets: x2 port, x2 starboard)
  • x2 Quad Laser cannons to Aft
  • Engines upgraded 4-3-4 (large-small-large) configuration
