Motto[edit]

The Motto of Kaph Squadron “We have great faith in each other, it’s called stupidity.” was created during a Motto Contest in November of 2002. This Entry was sent by: Darkhawk, a squad member at the time.

ESC'06[edit]

Starting on Wednesday June 28th until Wednesday July 26th, Kaph Squadron particitaced in the Elite Squadron Competition. During this month, the pilots competed in a variety of activities at the frequency of their choosing with the goal of making their squadron elite and themselves the top pilot in VEN. Scoring was determined by a rating out of 100 and was designed so that everyone's activity effects everyone else's. In other words, it was a battle of wits, will, determination, and coordination in order to bring their squadron to the top. Activity over the entire month was vital; those who could not keep the momentum would not hold on forever.

There were four catagories of which the squads of the Navy Competed.

  • Writing

Writing was worth 35% of the squadron rating and 40% of the pilot rating.

  • Gaming

Gaming was worth 25% of the squadron rating and 30% the of pilot rating.

Kaph Squadron scored: 146

  • Creativity

Creativity was worth 20% of the squadron rating and 30% of the pilot rating.

The website was worth 20% of the squadron rating.

Hellfire Class Escort Carrier "Tiamut"[edit]

The Current base ship of Kaph Squadron, the “Hellfire” Class Carrier “Tiamut”, was named in a Contest held in December of 2006 and Ended in January of 2007. The selected entry for the Class “Hellfire” was sent by: Arturus. The selected entry for the Name of the ship “Tiamut” was sent in by: Tnepres, a squadron member at the time.
