Operation: Iron Sweep was a Operation initated by Naval High Command that brought Kaph Squadron to the Yetton System. Kaph Squadron, accompanied by Devil Squadron, Twilight Squadron, and Crimson Squadron were based on Dreadnoughts Lobo (For Kaph and Devil), and the Serenity (Twilight and Crimson).

Kaph Squadron, like Viper and Operation: Tytus were sent on missions to secure areas that have been harassed by Warlord Forces, or still are.

When Kaph Squadron was alerted of a mission, they boarded the Lobo a Dreadnought in the Vast Empire Navy. Ensign Fox, and C-3PX2 briefed Kaph Squadron aboard the Lobo, were a few questions were asked and then they were set to work. Two days later Kaph Squadron arrived in the Yetton System. Alpha Squadron, a Squadron that had 5 LAAT Gunships were ready to defend Outpost Viverro if necessary, and if there was a enemy ground force presence. Also, Lambda-Class Shuttle 22249er-Esk was sent to the Outpost to render its situation: Defendable, or Need to be Evacuated. Kaph Squadron and Devil Squadron accompanied the 22249er-Esk to the surface, were it landed on a pad. Kaph did as well.The well designed Outpost was chosen to be Defendable, and Kaph Stayed to defend it. When the 22249er-Esk was leaving the Outpost it encountered difficulty, and halfway through their flight to the Lobo it was attacked and destroyed.

The Vast Empire's victory was at a cost, they lost over half of their Task Force, but victory was still theirs.

Devil Squadron first originated onboard Star Destroyed Reign during the Galactic Civil War. Since then it has grown to full size, and has countless pilots that would be willing to risk their life for the Vast Empire Navy, and the Vast Empire in whole.

Crimson Squadron has its roots traced back to the Clone Wars. Originally composed of Clone Pilots when the Galactic Republic was dissolved and the Galactic Empire came into rule Crimson Squadron went into constant battle. Eventually the Clones were killed off, and non-Clones took up their spots.

Not much is known about Twilight Squadron. Except that they participated in the Battle of Endor, and retreated with the rest of the Imperial Fleet. From there on out they left the Imperials and joined the Vast Empire.
