History
Born on Kabal in 15 BBY, Marcus was the middle child. He had a older sister named Lila Cole, and a younger deaf brother name Trin. At an early age, Marcus showed great promise at tracking and outdoor survival. He was accepted into a special school at the age of six for wilderness survival and evasion.
They said it was a 'watered down' version of SERE, Survival Evasion Resistance and Escape, that special forces use during their training regiment. All he knows is he spent three weeks in the darkest jungle with a multitude of creatures crawling on him. He saw two people get badly injured and have to be removed from the program.
He knew nothing serious would happen to them during this program, but he never did see an instructor until someone had to be removed. They only completed the mission when they made their way back to base.
By the age of fifteen the nickname of Reaper was given to him by his mentor Juit Gytre. Juit taught him the ways of the World, the peace one can find in becoming one with nature. Juit had first suggested Ranger as a nickname, but Marcus liked Reaper better.
Juit took him on a summer long trek around the continent. They walked everywhere, going nowhere. They only ventured in directions they felt like going that day. He learned more about life itself in those few short months, then he ever did for the rest of his life.
When he turned eighteen he joined the Empire as a Storm Trooper. He spent four years in various squads, he was given a chance at leadership and was made Fire Team Captain. He helped lead his team on four highly dangerous missions, he never lost a single person under his command.
A few months after that he was given a secret mission to infiltrate an enemy base alone. He was captured after two days of surveying the area, he escaped on his third day of capture. He returned to his secondary hideout to find a man waiting for him, he identified himself as Doronson Tally, the squad leader of Ghost squad. He would later find out this squad belonged to the special forces.
Tally offered his hand, and the title of Commando. Marcus accepted both without hesitation, he has been with the squad ever since.
