Word/Phrase (Origin) - meaning[edit]

Abo (Imperial) - used to denote any indigenous lifeform to a planet

Ackbar in the desert (Vast Empire) - A situation where one is out of his depths with no idea what to do. "How do you feel, son?" "Like Ackbar in the desert, Captain."

Bantha (military) - AT-AT walker (also known as a stompasaur)

Blue Milk Run (military) - phrase used to describe any mission that was deemed simple and easy.

Body Bucket (armorers) - the pieces of armor used by stormtroopers

Bowlheads (Vast Empire) - Insulting term for New Republic troops, specific to the Alderaanian style helmets affected by many units

Class-D (Imperial) - any barren, crater-scarred moon or satellite.

C.O.A. (Vast Empire) - "Citizens of Alderaan"; graphic term referring to enemy dead. "Mission accomplished, sir. We captured five, the rest are C.O.A."

Crate (starfighter pilot) -any form of landing craft.

Cross (Imperial starfighter pilot)- X-Wing

Dirt farmers (Vast Empire) - Dismissive term for Outer Rim citizens; "Sir, the dirt farmers on planet Dirt are inciting rebellion again"

Edge (Imperial) - A-Wing starfighter

Enn Arrs (Vast Empire) - N.R.s; quick slang reference for New Republic troops

Farm Boys (Vast Empire) - New Republic raw recruits; particularly referring to those green Outer Rim boys so passionate about the cause based only on propaganda fed to them. Luke Skywalker is the supreme example of this type of mentality.

Fish Bowls (Vast Empire) - Mon Calamari starships

Fanboy (military) - crewman of a hovercraft

Fish sticks (Vast Empire) - Mon Calamari casualties

Flutie (Imperial) - any race that can't speak the Basic language of humans.

Fuge (Vast Empire) - demeaning term for a refugee

Furball (starfighter pilot) - the incredibly complex collection of starships and weaponry that formed an interstellar dogfight

Gettin' Endored (Vast Empire) - Soundly beaten by the enemy, in reference to the Battle of Endor

Kicking the Rancor (Imperial) – a foolish stunt, in which the risks vastly outweighed the gains.

Lizling (Imperial) - derogatory term for a small, reptiloid being.

Luke or Lukes (Vast Empire) - (clearly referencing Skywalker). Such as "Luke's out there pri'ats, and he's watching you, studying you." Similar in use to "Charlie" by American forces to refer to Viet Cong in Vietnam.

Mudfoot (Imperial military) - the infantry which accompanies an AT-AT walker

Pile (Imperial) - Alliance Y-Wing starfighter

Prune Face (Imperial) - a member of the Dresselian race

Puck (military) – repulsortank

Reshers (Vast Empire) - Derogatory name for New Republic military; based on aurebesh phonetic alphabet for "R"

Reshie-rigged (Vast Empire) - Repurposed Imperial equipment or cobbled together technology; early Rebellion forces often fought with whatever they could scavenge; "Yeah, they had walkers, but they were all reshie rigged together and fallin' apart"

Reshies (Vast Empire) - Derogatory name for New Republic military; based on aurebesh phonetic alphabet for "R"

Reshie Shoot (Vast Empire) - An easy victory

RODL (Vast Empire) - rolling on deck, laughing

Romeo (Vast Empire) - Derogatory name for New Republic military; based on phonetic alphabet for "R"

Softies (Vast Empire) - Reference to New Republic infantry; who often fight without armor

Spinner (Imperial) - B-Wing starfighter

Steel (Imperial) – stormtrooper

Tinnie (military) – a battle droid

Triggo (Imperial stormtrooper) - the primitive settlements of alien beings

Yegg (Imperial) – lowlife being

Zoo Keepers (Vast Empire) - New Republic officers; made in reference to the varied species they often command
