Summary[edit]
The Triumvirate is a small criminal syndicate operating mainly in the mid-Rim region of the Galaxy. Their current operation centers are reported to be located on Nar Shadda, Commenor, and Fondor. However, it is believed that these planets are merely safe-houses and storage facilities, as their main base of operations is the mCRV Divinity, owned by Commander Jikkyo Nimiichi and crewed by lower ranking members.
The Triumvirate as a whole, or its individual commanders have been tied to a variety of illegal activities including but not limited to:
- Murder
- Treason
- Grand Larsony
- Computer Fraud
- Blackmail
- Money Laundering
- Credit Fraud
- Kidnapping
- Extortion
- Spice Smuggling
History[edit]
The Triumvirate was originally founded by three individuals seeking to further their ambitions by combining their individual skills. All three were at different turning points in their respective careers, and needed the partnership for their own reasons. Slishu Klak'dor was already established as a journeyman of sorts in the Bounty Hunting subculture, but was largely alienated due to his refusal to kill his marks. Sala Naird was working her way up the food chain as a decent smuggler, but found that her gender cost her more jobs than she cared for. Dicer was on the run from the authorities for a plethora of computer related crimes.
Chance Meeting[edit]
The founding members met by happenstance on Commenor where Dicer, continually on the run, was being pursued by a relentless bounty hunter. While hiding in Chasin City, Dicer managed to break into a small starport hanger and stash aboard an old YT-2400 Freighter. The bounty hunter, who happened to be Slishu Klak'dor, tracked him there and arrived just as the freighter's owner was finishing loading her cargo. Sala, the owner, brokered a deal with Slishu to capture Dicer alive. However, when they cornered the Devaronian, he devised the idea which would shape the rest of their careers.
The First Years[edit]
As their loose alliance got started times, and funds, were short. They used Sala's hanger as a base of operations, and scraped together enough credits to get Dicer up and running producing fake IDs and government papers. After a few short months, they earned enough money to hire someone to take of the smuggling side of their business, a retired New Republic Captain named Jevona Nevin. This freed Sala to extend their operation into a new area, information brokering.
During this time, they branched their operations out to Fondor, moving Dicer there as they had to fend off repeated attempts to capture him. Setting up this second base was a calculated risk, and one that resulted in a financial boom. This is turn lead to them opening their third base on Nar Shadaa to try and open up business relations with the Hutts, who paid good money for information, smuggling, and bounty hunting. It was then that they decided to name themselves the "Triumvirate" and were formally referred to as "The Triumvirate Syndicate." Keeping their operations relatively small, and using Dicer's skills to eliminate public records of their transactions, criminal offenses, and financial records.
Three Becomes Four[edit]
A few months after its founding, a young man appeared at the Nar Shadaa facility seeking information on former rebellion members. During her search, Sala uncovered the tragic events of his life. The Triumvirate decided to offer him an apprenticeship, realizing the potential he held in all three of their specialties. This young man was Jikkyo Nimiichi, and he would later become the fourth commander.
