The day was like any other I was at my father side the captain of the oldest blockade-runner in the fleet. The broken down little vesicle looked more like a peace of space junk then a fast nimble ship. Little did I know a routine stop at Mechis IIIs enormous landing facility/ planet wide manufacturing plant would turn into a fist fight, twelve highly trained shock troops planning on steeling or imperial transport vesicle to do there biding. Little did they know my father was always had one hand on the throttle, as they began to commence fire he dropped torpedoes and punched right out of there. But smooth sailing was short lived three x-wings blasted the port side with proton torpedoes engines, weapons and life support were all starting to fail. Father pushed me into an escape pod I knew what he was about to do so I didn�t fight it. Four men died that day my father over loaded the malfunctioning engines to destroy the nearby x-wings saving my self and hundreds of others if the rebels would have gotten or ship. Finally I was recovered by a patrolling battle cruiser after a short recovery I made my way to the academy, now it was more than a dream it was personal.
