Personality

Abalar is a quiet, unassuming person. It takes a lot for her to become angry: usually its when someone constantly calls her Stone instead of Abalar or Fyre (see pet peeves for more info). When she is angry, it takes a long time for her to settle down again. She will rarely drink, mainly due to her childhood, unless she is very upset or afraid, and needs to forget about something.

Pet Peeves

Fyre will only use her last name for title's sake. If called by "Stone", she will just pound them to the floor. However, if she is called along the lines of "Private Stone", then she will just cringe, then respond.

Fyre, after many years of cantina work, has come to the conclusion that any self respecting person will wash him- or herself at least once ever other day, job permitting.

Bio

Childhood

Fyre Stone was born in the family home on Dantooine. Her father was a wealthy trader called Jakar, and her mother was a decent looking woman called Lilia. Simply put, Fyre's birth was an accident. Her parents had gotten wasted one night after a valuable shipment cleared, had gotten busy, and soon after they found out they were having another child. Her older brothers, Sembo, Botin, and Yukin, are all at least twenty years older than she is, and had already proven their worth to their father. However, Fyre would never really be able to do that, as she was female, and she was an accident child.

Fyre's father never taught her anything, it was always her mother's job. It had been different with Jakar's sons though, he had been the one to teach them everything while Lilia watched. Jakar enrolled Fyre in a community class as soon as he was able to, but pulled her out of it by the end of the month when he found out there were some aliens sharing the same class. Jakar had always felt that aliens were used only for business, and were never allowed anywhere near the house. He believed that if Fyre associated with the aliens, she would become like them, and he felt he had already suffered enough just by her birth.

Jakar had always felt that Fyre's birth was an attempt to publicly embarrass him, and to ruin his business, even though he brought it upon himself. For this reason, he made multiple attempts to kill her, starting from her birth. He would have tried to kill Fyre while she was still inside the womb, but it is hard to cover up deaths like that. The first time Jakar tried to kill Fyre was just after her birth. He had planned it all out, and was going to make it look like Fyre had strangled herself with the umbilical cord. He kept his plan secret, but somehow someone found out, probably during one of Jakar’s many cantina crawls, and alerted the authorities. The authorities came to the house as soon as they heard that the birth had gone smoothly, which prevented Jakar from ever touching his daughter. In some ways, this caused more harm than good, because it set the hatred Jakar felt for Fyre.

The first five years was a struggle for Fyre. She only had her mother to depend on, and Lilia wasn’t that great a mother. She would forget about Fyre and leave her baby outside in a barn or near the stairs. One could imagine the large amount of bumps, scrapes, bruises, and near-death experiences Fyre faced.

A Dancer's Life

When Fyre landed on Naboo, she immediately set out to find work. Fyre had never seen anything past her house on Naboo and the plains that surrounded it. She experienced culture shock, so she was unable to think clearly when it came to choosing her career. One man, Lins Uru, preyed upon this weakness. He had made use of girls who had similar stories to Fyre's: girls that needed out of their old lives and fled to other planets in hopes of forgetting. Lins Uru was a dancer recruiter for a skeezy cantina on Naboo called "Lift Your Feet". Fyre was one of the three girls that landed that day seeking another life, and Lins preyed upon all three of them. They soon found themselves in Lift Your Feet, dressed in the skimpiest of outfits imaginable. Lins Uru told them that they were going to be stars, that they were going to turn this cantina around. Of course, all three of them believed him. Fyre had never had any positive male attention before, so this new attnetion, along with the culture shock, clouded her judgment severely.

For her training, the three girls were told to first have different names. They didn't get any input in their names. Within five minutes, the two other girls became Eralyn and Araken. Abalar became Brightstar due to the tattoo on her arm.

Notable Skills

Galactic Beasts

For unknown reasons, Fyre Stone is able to communicate with beasts of the known galaxy very easily. This included non sentient as well as sentient beasts. Due to this, she can train almost any animal into a great mount. The one animal that she trained as a child was Turhaya, her Tusk Cat, which was not only her mount, but her protector.

Languages

Being a cantina dancer, Abalar was able to learn how to understand plenty of languages. Even though she may not speak all of them fluently, she can understand and read them, and can utter a few words in each if need be.
