Sovakas Ron is a technological genius, mechanic, employed pirate, and professional slicer; serving in the Vast Empire Stormtrooper Corps as part of a life time punishment due to his wild and unruley past. Ron carries the reminder of this punishment at all times on the back of his neck, where a large scrolling tatoo that reads "Del" (for Delinquent) was marked. Ron found redemption through the Army; but it wasn't until he was invited to work for The Osk Company that Ron started to realize his own potential.

Biography
Appearance
Ron stands at six feet; one hundred and fifty-nine pounds; sports a cropped head of short brown hair and a goatee, and has light grey eyes. He is lean, though muscular, and is a smoker- when he can get his hands on cigarettes. This vice was picked up while on Corellia; while under the apprenticeship of his uncle, Don Maer. As a result, one can see the effects of the smoking on his index and middle fingers (which are slightly yellow) and in his voice (which is rougher and deeper than it normally would be). Ron is nearing what could be called a "midlife crises", if he continues down the abusive, corrosive path he is headed in. To put it plainly, it is not uncommon for others to think, "he looks like hell..."
Ron wears casual, well-fitting vests and loose pants and he is usually seen reading magazines of high speed racing vehicles. The most distinguishable trait is the large tattoo on the back of Ron's neck that reads, "DEL" (Delinquent), acquired when Ron was charged of participation in a conspiracy murder.
Personality
Ron was cautious, quick-witted, patient, ambitious, and smart at one time before he retired from the army; but now upon his return it is clear that his once admirable traits have somewhat changed. He is no longer cautious, leaving prudence to the wind; his wits are still quick, but somewhat dulled through the overuse of alchohol and cigarras; while sometimes patient, he is more often seen as uneasy; ambition has all but left him, only the hope of having a desk job appeals to him- in fact the only trait that remained about the same was his intelligence, which unlike the others chastises Ron for every rediculous mistake he makes from day to day.
Early Life
Upon her death, those relatives had cared for Ron determined that he was no longer their responsibility, and sent him away to work under a half-uncle without any children. This move proved to be to Ron's benefit, for the half-uncle, Don Maer, was a kindly man. Unfortunately Ron's aquaintance with Maer ended abruptly when Maer foolishly attempted to secure an underground contract with two criminals. When they tried to kill Ron, he surprised them and killed them both using the machinery that he was unlicensed to use.
When the authorities found Ron at the scene of the murder, they would not believe that Ron killed the mercenaries in self defense; even though the evidence for it was overwhelming. The two greedy detectives, Derik and Maark, took the credit for catching the two underground crimials themselves, and sentenced Ron to fifteen years service in the Imperial Army as an enlisted Stormtrooper.
Basic Training: Cracking Codes
Ron was placed in basic training, passed the course and was allowed to begin his specialization training; Communications Technician. His very first assignment led him back to home planet, Corellia. Assigned to break the coded languages used by smugglers in Coronet City, Ron excelled, and in a few days, broke the codes for the main alphabet; verbs, nouns, conjugates; and sentence structure. He had completely decrypted the Smuggler Codes. Ron repeated his methods, eventually decoding all the messages and gaining information regarding all of the drug, murder, and general crime talk within the decrypted messages. Ron presented them to his authorities, who in turn discredited him for his work claiming "it was not possible due to his time constraints."
Ron was then put on the impossible task of decrypting incoming "pirate codes", a task which had never been fully completed before due to the level of difficulty. Having been told that these "Pirate Codes" were near impossible to break due to the sophistication of their security systematics which bar codes the entire message, he was unsure of his success. If a computer did not have the "bar code" password, it read the entire message in numbers randomized from 1-9, excluding of course the number zero.
Ron spent several days trying to break the codes, often sleeping or dozing off in his chair, and waiting for the day to end. This continued for weeks, until he finally noticed a several different things about the code. For one, it was not a random number generator that created the numbers, for there was a clear pattern of ranked numbers from 1-9 without periods or breaks. Secondly the beginning of every line on his monitor was a nine number digit with one letter. This gave him the lead he needed to break the code, which explained why there was a break in the stream of random numbers. Apparently (from what he read in the streaming codes) a great catastrophe had caused several security systems to crash. This left the codes open for approximately 75 minutes (until the server would reboot itself). Ron only needed 35 minutes, until he had received the new "bar code" password, which allowed him to plug into the system. And he was surprised to find, when he accessed the administration panel, that it was of Imperial origin.
Ron began saving all the streaming information on datapads and paper charts, receiving boundless information on several things he didn't understand such as the word "Albatross." and "Serrell" (two words that were repeated numerously in all the codes). He would have continued hacking into the administration and stealing pirate and imperial information until one day he discovered that he had a "tag" on his computer, which meant that could be monitored at any time by a root administrator. Ron didn't take the chance of being caught digging in secret imperial affairs, so he packed up and left, hiding himself in an "untagged" personal computer where he could continue his work. The day he moved in was three days prior to when a strange man called Arnaut broke into his room; in those three days he had barely managed to break into the system, and set up an "invisible" identity so as to escape detection. Arnaut's intrusion changed his life forever.
Joining Wraith Squad
Arnaut picked up Ron and let him join as a trooper in his squad, Wraith Squad, who at that time were chasing after the pirate lord called Albatross, whom Ron had been tracking previously as well. Arnaut agreed to let Ron continue his research along with the squad. It was shortly after Ron joined Wraith Squad that he went on a temporary leave and was placed in the Army Reserves. During his time in the reserves, Ron spent a considerable amount of time elsewhere in the galaxy, doing things that at this time are unknown and cannot be transcribed.
However soon Ron returned to duty, and to Wraith Squad, which was now run under a new Squad Leader, Kanderin Draken. Kanderin allowed Ron to join in their mission at current which was labled under the name "Wraith Are Legend"; but it was not until the Stormtrooper Corps Holiday Campaign that Ron truely showed his potential. The Campaign called for taking down a highly suspect fugitive known as J'ak Frozt, who had been running at large throughout the galaxy causing havock to the Vast Empire. Finally the Empire took a hit; a deadly virus was leaked into the Stormtrooper Corps' Computer System, and they had to fix it as soon as possible.
Each squad had their own mission, but Wraith was sent to administer the anti-virus into the system. To do that they had to access the main terminals in Tadath, which was held by J'ak Frozt's cronies and mercenaries. Once inside they were taken hostage, and it was only after a clever play of words and actions that Ron himself discharged the anti-virus into the system, thus ending the campaign.
Ron was promoted for his actions in the Holiday Campaign, and was made a Sergeant. It was shortly after this that Helena, the Squad's Assistant Squad Leader, was promoted to the Squad Leader of Raiders Squad. Kanderin asked Ron to fill in the position, and Ron accepted. After this they went on their next mission, a dry and iron rich planet in which a terrorist group had created havock at a national day of celebration. Wraith Squad teamed up with Raiders to find the source of the terrorism and to put an end to it.
After the combined mission, Helena of the Raiders Squad was released from her duties. When the position for Squad Leader of Raiders opened up, Ron applied and he was made Squad Leader of Raiders.
Leading the Pack
With a full promotion and some battle experience under his belt, Ron now lead Raiders Squad. The first few missions Ron worked with the fomer ASL, Bacardi, but soon he began making changes: replacing the former assistant squad leader, Bacardi with some fresh legs: Jaenna. Ron's first mission for the squad was on a dense jungle planet called Kalee. It was here that Ron first exposed the full ramifications of his somewhat violent past, when he brutally mutilated a Kaleeian corpse. This sudden, shocking event was the primary reason for Ron's intense and sometimes brutal attempts to correct his short comings.
Ron developed many relationships in Raiders, most significantly his very strong- often described as "brotherly" relationship with Havock, or Ayme Katash. This relationship developed out of a series of submissions, in which Havock would constantly find herself in danger and would end up being saved or rescued from each situation by Ron's quick thinking or actions. Eventually this relationship worked out both ways, with Havock taking a sisterly role. Ron found himself slowly becoming the one in need of advise and help- the more that Havock matured and grew older.
The last few missions that Ron lead as Squad Leader in Raiders were labled as the Praexus missions: which were aimed at disconfigurating a planets communications system. Ron spearheaded the event, but never finished. He had reached the end of his sentence in the army, and was discharged as a free man- honorably retired from the Vast Empire Stormtrooper Corps.
