History:

Dawk Cosmic Rhonaey sat at his desk, with paperwork in front of them. However, it was hard to complete. Memories of his parents and past life kept appearing as images in his head.

Finally, rubbing his eyes, he put his feet up on his desk and sat back in his chair, and let his mind relax, and prepared for the flashbacks

Dawk Rhonaey was a man who believed that no soldier should be left behind on the battlefield. He believed that victory was the only way out, and defeat was not in his vocabulary. His dark black crew-cut hair made people think twice about him. His dark black eyes stared straight into yours once you have entered into a stare. He was 6 3 in height and weighed 185 lbs.

Dawk had been trained in the martial arts very heavily, and he could easily defeat someone who would have been very experienced with martial arts. He was trained by various martial arts masters, and he has learned several different kinds of martial arts, so his skills were not in one basket, but in several, and so his knowledge had increased.

Dawks mother and father had been taken by the Rebel Alliance and killed because the Rebels had found out that Dawks mother and father were Imperial spies, and were caught gathering information out of a computer consol on Alderaan.

Dawk was only ten when his mother and father died, but he knew exactly what happened, unlike most ten-year-olds who pretty much take everything for granted, and think that a lot of things are not real, or dont mean anything.

At 17 years of age, he set on a quest to search for the Empire. Although this was an easy task, he knew that the Empire had several different factions, and he wanted to find the perfect one

* * * *

Dawk had been in hyperspace for a week now. His rations were getting low, and so far, he had not had been in any contact with the Empire. He had passed several planets, but they were uninhabited.

Staying onboard his small ship, the Executor, which he had made his new home, was a little harder than he had expected. He had sold many of his belongings that he didnt need, and only brought along things that were absolutely essential: Two weeks of food rations, a blaster and ammo, and several canisters of water which would last him a month.

He slept in a small bunk in a very small room, beside the engine room, where he kept his extra clothes. His blaster was kept at his side at all times, and he ran continuous scans of the surrounding area for any signs of activity.

His GBp-629 hyperdrive engine had been online for three days straight now. Although Dawk heavily opposed the idea of stopping in the middle of space, the hyperdrive needed to cool off, and perhaps some repairs.

Dawk went to the cockpit and looked at the scans, and found nothing, to his dismay. He knew that this scanning system was really good, an Anx-y/2-type sensor model.

Knowing that the hyperdrive engines might need some repairs, Dawk headed for the engine room and started running diagnostics

The next day had come, and Dawk had made some minor repairs to the hyperdrive. During the night, his scanners picked up some ship activity just a few hours away from his position. Knowing that this would be a good chance of finding a faction of the Empire, he quickly set the coordinates into the computer and engaged the engines.

The Executor came out of hyperspace, and was in heading towards a blue-green planet that was surrounded by Imperial Star Destroyers.

Must be a blockade. Thought Dawk.

His ship moved towards the Star Destroyers until he was approximately 1 mile away from the nearest Star Destroyer.

He knew the nature of the Imperials, and that they would fire upon his ship, no questions asked, so he quickly activated his Commlink system and made opened a channel.

Imperial Star Destroyer, this is Dawk Rhonaey onboard the ship Executor. I am requesting permission to come aboard and possibly join the Empire.

There was a two-minute pause before Dawks message was answered.

Executor, as you can see, were are in the middle of a blockade, and have no time for petty distractions. However, since you have inquired about joining the Empire, we will let you come aboard. You will be closely supervised.

Thank you. Replied Dawk, and he steered his ship towards the docking bay underneath the Star Destroyer.

As the Executor landed, one squad of Stormtroopers quickly surrounded the ship. The Executors ramp slowly lowered to the ground, and Dawk slowly walked out into the vast chamber of the Star Destroyers docking bay.

Six Stormtroopers quickly escorted Dawk to the commanding officer in the docking bay.

Dawk nodded to the officer.

Thank you for letting me aboard, sir.

The officer nodded.

This way. My superior officer awaits you. Replied the lieutenant.

Dawk nodded and followed the lieutenant, along with the Stormtroopers to their destination.

Once inside, the lieutenant ordered the six Stormtroopers to guard the captains quarters, and then he walked up to the captain, saluted, and presented Dawk.

Who are you and what do you want. Said the captain.

My name is Dawk Rhonaey, sir. My father and mother, Mansc and Atasha Rhonaey were my parents. They were both Imperial spies, sent to Alderaan on secret mission to gather information for the Empire seven years ago. However, during that mission, they were both discovered and were killed by the Rebels. I want to join the Empire, and be a part of the collective that my mother and father were, sir. I want to be a minion of the Empire.

The captain looked at Dawk for a moment, and then lit a cigar. He blew a large puff of smoke before replying.

If your intention is to serve the Empire, then by all meansjoin. Lieutenant Bernardi will escort you in an Imperial Shuttle to sign you up and get your gear.

Dawk nodded and thanked the captain.

The captain then activated a small commlink system and summoned Lieutenant Bernardi.

The lieutenant walked in and nodded.

Escort Mr. Rhonaey to the training facility back at our base. He is going our recruit.

Lieutenant Bernardi nodded and motioned for Dawk to follow him.

Dawk turned around and walked three paces, then stopped. He turned around to the captain and asked a question.

Sir, the Empire has many factions. What faction are you, may I ask?

The captain blew another puff of smoke, and then replied.

The Vast Empire, my boy. The Vast Empire.

Dawk nodded then followed Lieutenant Bernardi to the shuttle.

The shuttle landed softly on the landing pad of the Vast Empire base. The ramp lowered down, and Lieutenant Bernardi and Dawk Rhonaey walked out.

Lieutenant Bernardi immediately saluted the man in front of him.

Captain Talon, sir. I have a new recruit for you. His name is Dawk Rhonaey. I must return back to the SD.

Captain Talon nodded and looked at his new recruit.

Welcome to the Vast Empire Army, Rhonaey. Follow me.

Dawk followed Captain Talon to a small building in which Dawk was to sign up and get his gear.

Howd you find the Vast Empire? Asked Talon as he signed some paperwork.

I wanted to join the Empire, so I was in-and-out of hyperspace for awhile.

Captain Talon gave Dawk a piece of paper and told him to put his signature on it. He was then given some gear.

Your new callsign is Cosmic, since you have come from the stars. Welcome to the Army soldier.

Cosmic opened his eyes to a soft sound within his office. A recruit was standing in front of him, and beside the recruit, Vast Empire Army soldier.

This kid has signed up for the Army, Captain Cosmic. Im leaving him to you now, sir. Replied the Corporal.

Cosmic nodded and sent him off. He then signed several papers and stamped a seal and gave it to the recruit.

Welcome to the Vast Empire Army.
