Well, I've made my first journey home from college. I'm sitting around the house, and I have nothing to do. I told the kids at work that I wouldn't be in today, then I called back again and told them I wouldn't be in tomorrow either, and that I didn't expect to be back in the rest of the season. School is far more busytime than I expected, and it hasn't even started yet. I think to myself, if its this bad now, its gonna be helloneathohmygodlooktheresdevilhedoesn'tlooksobadexceptforthefangsandfireandbrimstoneandstuff bad. So, result? I've decided to quit the work thing, which is like a 45 minute drive from campus. I don't care about working enough to keep going with it.

In other news the entity known as Jameson has declared one of his personas, Dravis, the High Prest of Ferg, and has created a religion around that alter ego of myself. The Book of Ferg can be found here.

Well, here I am, in a dorm. Seems decent enough so far. There was an initial barrage of what I will tenativly call "God Squad"ers, ask if they can help even when I say no, and then ask me about what church I go to. If you didn't know, I don't go to church, and I have no religion, in Oklahoma, thats a rarity. The people more towards my end of the floor seem to be decent folk though, time will tell. We shall see....

I've been playing on a MUD (multi user d-word[dungeon, domain, demension, dwhatever]) called Magrathea for a great many years now. Its starting to fall into a bit of a decline as far as how many people are on it and how long they stick around. If you have any interest at all in text-based madness telnet on over to magrathea.magmud.com on port 2000 and rock out!
