Hi there.

How are things?

Thats good.

Me? Oh, well, things are going on, you know? Its amazing what you hear if you just leave the door to your dorm open. I won't repeat most of it here, but it ended with "Fuck that, who'dyou think I am? Jesus? I can do this, call me at 12:30." I think he's going to break up with his girlfriend or something. Whatever.

I've gotta get up in about 7 hours for my Calc class, not real worried about that so far. So instead of doing any of the more rational or intelligent things, I'm gonna type here for a while, mostly because I haven't.

Did you know I'm pledging a fraternity? Yes, me. "What fraternity would take me?" you ask? The only one I'd ever consider joining. Triangle. I was introduced to this unique brotherhood of scientists and engineers through Corey Ulmer, who those of you who went to PCN may remember. Via Triangle I've been able to carve myself a little niche of belonging on this big, big campus. Additionally I've met some pretty neat people. One of my pledge-brothers-to-be has introduced me to the alarmingly addicting game Unreal Tournament which I've spent many hours playing this weekend. I regret that the amount of time I'm spending with the brothers of Triangle is detracting from the time I spend with my other friends on campus, all of which I tried to pull into this with me. I failed, oh well, maybe they'll see the light in the spring.

I really wish the people down the hall'd be less... uhmmm... themselves, and more someone else. Have you ever heard of a SEP field? I need one, I'd place it at the front of the hall.
