History: Jack Daniels was born on Thyferra in the Polith System. His father was officer in the Imperial Navy and his mother was the daughter of an industrial manager. The planet was a peaceful place and so Jack grew up without hearing about the Rebellion until he was 14 and his father was promoted to a Captain of an Imperial Star Destroyer. The Rebellion grew slowly, and his father reported to him each time he came back home how there had been more fights against the Rebels. His whole Live changed when he received word that his father died in a battle against a few Rebels. A damaged X-Wing flew bridge tower in a kamikaze strike. Nobody from the bridge crew survived this cowardly attack.

After this, Jack asked his commander for an transfer to a Task Force Group to fight against the Rebels and revenge the death of his father. His new squadron was on the Victory Star Destroyer Revenge, which flew constant missions in search of Rebel groups. In this time, Jack flew more sorties than in his whole navy time before. His flight skills and his hunger for revenge earned him his callsign "Warmaker". Soon, the Task Force was feared in the Rebellion; nobody knew where they were stationated or where they would attack next, but a Bothan spy found one of the crew members of the VSD Revenge when they had put into port at Landurlaub and was able to get the man drunk - and talkative. Nobody from the rest of the crew knew about this betrayal and so they started into hyperspace on their search once again, but soon a captured Interdictor from the Rebels pulled them out of hyperspace, and several Y-Wings and X-Wings Squadrons engaged the Revenge. Jack tried with his squadron to defend the Revenge, but one squadron, even one of the most feared squadrons, had no chance against an attack from over six Rebel squadrons.

One after one of his wingmates was killed, until soon there was only half of the squadron left. Warmaker could see the explosion from the Revenge when it happened. The squadron was equipped with TIE Interceptors with hyperdrives, but they couldn't use them, because there was no way out of the Interdictor's grasp.

Warmaker and the rest of the squadron knew that this was probably their last fight, so they tried to take as many Rebels as they could with them before they got killed. One after another died and soon only Warmaker and his commander were left, but the Rebels had heavy casaulties and space was no longer filled with dozens of fighters. His commander ordered Warmaker to try to escape with him into hyperspace, but as they flew into a hole in the gravitational flux, a missile hit Warmaker's fighter in the rear and damaged him heavily; most of his systems failed and he could see the incoming bogeys fly in for the finishing blow when he heard another order from his commander over the Comm System. The order was to try a blind jump into hyperspace. Warmaker knew that he would die if he stayed and that he probably would die if he made a blind jump, but he didn't want to give a Rebel the satisfaction of his death, so he engaged the hyperdrive and made the jump .... Many hours later, Warmaker awoke in an unknown system. Most systems in his fighter were damaged, but he tried to fly to the nearest planet before his ship fell apart.

The moment when he broke through the planet's orbit, his engines finally failed and he crashed after a rough flight through the atmosphere into an sea adjacent to the biggest continent. The crash, which nearly killed him, wiped out most of his memory. After he awoke in a hospital, he couldn't remember where he was or where he was from ... the only thing he could remember was his hate for the Rebels. The doctors told him his Callsign, which his rescuers had seen painted on the side of his ship at the crash site.

After a few months of rehabilitation in the hospital, Warmaker joined a little mercenary group that defended convoys against Rebel attacks. From time to time, he got flashbacks from the past, but almost as soon as they appear, they were over. However, piece by piece, Warmaker was slowly putting the puzzle back together and knew that someday he would get his memories back. On one of the mercenary missions, they received a message from a Rebel ambush and they decided to join the fight. But there were not many to defeat - the Rebels were killed by the Vast Empire's Naval Forces. Warmaker was fascinated by the efficency with which Aegis and Viper Squadrons had cleared the battlefield and he was also very impressed by the leading ship of this Imperial Fleet, the Super Star Destroyer Atrus. Something in Warmaker's head told him to leave the mercenaries and join the Vast Empire Navy, but at the time he wasn't able to say what lead him to the decision.

After he completed a little training, he was placed into Viper Squadron. His hunger for revenge was still there, and he would get chances to kill Rebels, for it was a time of war for the Vast Empire. It seemed that every group in the galaxy tried to destroy them, and the pilots of the VEN almost nearly died every day, flying their TIEs to keep freedom in their sectors. Freedom, in the sense that Imperial tyrany brings. After a few months, he was ordered to a mysterious planet to take a test in which Dark Jedi Master Spartacus tested him to see how much Force potential he had. Now he understands his "luck" in all of the fights, and other events in the past.
