Kane absorbs information like a sponge. If there is a chance Kane could learn through a simulation or through conversation with more experienced naval personnel, or engineers, or even crewmen who have served on a vessel longer than he has, Kane will gladly take the opportunity to learn what he can. Usually he will retain the information after hearing or reading it once, almost at an eidetic memory level.

Appearance[edit]
5'9" 190 pounds. Silver-gray hair with two different colored eyes. Kane wears his facial hair neatly trimmed as a goatee. Kane carries his weight well, muscular without being bulgy in the wrong areas. His hands have seen many years of physical labor, but his dexterity with small tools and fine objects seems misplaced on his form.
Personality[edit]
Initially quiet and reserved, many view him as an introvert and generally a sour person. However, Kane is always accessing a person or situation, using presented information to form opinions about what he is currently up against. Once someone has earned his trust, he opens up and becomes a casual acquaintance. There are few he would dare call a friend, but there are few who have taken the time to prove themselves in his eyes. Kane keeps his answers straight to the point and doesn’t sugar-coat, and he will expect the same from everyone he meets. "Anything worth saying is worth saying directly" is a favorite saying of his father's.
History[edit]
Kane's father served as an Imperial trooper during the glorious Order 66. With the Jedi extinguished, Kane was allowed to grow up in a peaceful era. The tales of glory his father told instilled a desire in Kane to serve the Empire, but financial hardships within the family forced a delay in his recruitment. Finally free of the need to work endless days in order to provide, Kane immediately sought out a recruiter.
His physical appearance can be attributed to a freak accident on Cato Neimoidia, where an overhead vapor pipe valve burst. The chemical absorption destroyed the melanin in Kane's hair and in his left eye. The vision in his eye was not affected, although people seeing him tend to believe his vision impaired. While he mostly ignores the looks and stereotypes, he has been known to use them to his advantage.
