Situation

While out in Space with the First Vast Imperial Fleet, and doing some flight maneuvers, everything was calm. Then out of nowhere a massive New Republic Naval fleet jumped into the system, and with the element of surpise, managed to destroy and/or disable the majority of the First Vast Imperial Fleet.
