Lunei Taneg
Current Status[edit]
- Currently assigned to Chlovi Squadron as Cobalt 10
- Flight Member, Imperial Navy
- Senior Crewman
Notable Skills[edit]
Lunei is a fast thinker, constantly staying one step ahead of her opposition in a dogfight. She cranks out crazy strategies on the fly and stays cool under pressure. On the ground, she specializes in out-thinking her opponents in any kind of fight and isn't half-bad with a blaster in a pinch.
Bio[edit]
Appearance[edit]
Lunei is shorter than most pilots and isn't very strong. She sports light blond hair cut to near-regulation length and deep green eyes that betray her intellect. She's almost always wearing standard-issue something or other, depending on the situation.
Personality[edit]
Lunei hasn't had much experience with death, and tries to always have a positive outlook on things. She generally follows the Navy's rules and regulations, unless they feel especially stupid or pointless to her. She refuses to let anything bother her, finding the good side to every outcome. She puts others ahead of herself, staying out of their way most of the time and only getting involved if she thinks they need help.
History[edit]
Lunei Taneg was born on Corellia to Temol and Frei Taneg. She is the middle child of five, with two older brothers, a younger brother, and a younger sister. Along with most youth on Corellia, she learned to see the Empire as a bastion of order and peace and a position in its military as the highest form of service one could achieve. Both her older brothers trained to become Navy pilots, and saved up for four sim pods that they used constantly. They frequently brought Lunei in for target practice, and since she couldn't beat them through skill, she learned to take them down through creative strategies and not a small amount of luck. She planned to enter the academy at the same time as her brothers, but shortly before the deadline her younger brother was drafted into the ground forces. The brothers did very well in their studies, and served on one of the Star Destroyers in Darth Vader's Death Squadron. The Emperor died shortly afterward, and the brothers were never heard from again. Lunei continued her personal training, and after selecting the Vast Empire as the best successor to the old legacy she joined the Vast Empire Naval Academy and graduated ahead of schedule. She was initially placed as a pilot in Blackguard Squadron, but she was later transferred to Tuk'ata Squadron at Maroy's personal request. She jumped ship and joined Chlovi Squadron along with Maroy when Tuk'ata shut down.
