Background History[edit]

Muulog Morg, like most Sullustans in 6 BBY, started his career as an employee of the SoroSuub corporation, where he rose through the ranks as a test pilot for SoroSuub's burgeoning line of personal spacecraft. His successful career was thrown into chaos, however, when Sullustans led by Nien Nunb led a violent uprising against the supposedly dictatorial, Galactic Empire-aligned SoroSuub corporation. The rebels disrupted the company's operations, causing huge financial losses across the organization. Muulog found himself taking pay cut after pay cut. By 4 ABY, he was relegated to flying a waste disposal freighter, and any hope he'd had of being chosen for a new warren-clan was dashed. However, his loyalty to the Galactic Empire, built up during his time with SoroSuub, never wavered. Shortly after the resistance formally overthrew the SoroSuub leadership and joined the Rebel Alliance, Muulog took what little he had left and ventured out into the galaxy, vowing revenge against the Alliance for ruining his fame, his fortune, and his love life. Eventually finding his way to the Vast Empire, he put his piloting skills to use in return for a chance to bite back at the Sullustan revolutionaries who drove him out.

Character's Personality[edit]

Muulog is gruff, quick to berate but slow to trust. He is immensely proud of his achievements in service to the Vast Empire, and has little respect for those from less patriotic backgrounds. He is not xenophobic, strictly speaking, but he often assumes that individuals of species associated with the New Republic must espouse the same ideals, and he detests them for it until they demonstrate otherwise. In his mind, the working class exists to serve the state, and while they should be rewarded in that capacity, the state should never succumb to the wishes of any individual group. That philosophy of "cowardly concession to the lesser good" is why he abhors the New Republic and any other rebellious or criminal elements who claim altruistic motives.
