Red Dragon Order

Early History

The Red Dragon Order was founded on Lorelei thousands of years before first contact. Originally comprised of the Lorellian Royal Family, surname DarkBlayde, it gradually expanded to including promising members of the planet's military and renown political leaders. The Red Dragon Order, or RDO for short, was able to unite the planet under one peaceful monarchy for thousands of years.

First Contact - The Old Republic

In the height of a great golden age, when long distance space travel was just becoming a possibility for the Lorellians, they were visited by a pirate group then called the Krayt Claws. Based in Nar Shadaa, the Krayt Claws were looking for an undeveloped system to hide there spoils. When they came across Lorelei, they quickly made friends with the order and shared technology with them in exchange for the protection of their horde.

The Clone Wars

With no real relavence to either the Republic or the Trade Federation, Lorelei stayed out of the clone wars. It was around this time that Darren Bandaar led a coup of the Krayt Claws, executing its leader an rebadging the group(now much smaller than it had once been) as the Black Hand. Darren Befriended the Order and the Lorelians and was accepted into their ranks. It was around this time that Warren Tei-Yehn joined the Black Hand and became the group's first Officer. As the Order grew, so did it's influence in the senate and its spread across the galaxy. It rivaled even the exchange of the old republic.

Warren Tei-Yehn

Born on Tatooine, a promising swoop racer and pilot, Warren Tei-Yehn joined the ranks of the Black Hand and quickly made a name for himself. Darren, only a few years older than Warren, quickly propelled him through the ranks, making him second in command and entering him into the RDO.

Durring his trials on Lorelei to join the Order, Warren met and married the princess Nalaa Darkblayde. Shortly after their marriage, a great coup overthrew the Lorelian Monarchy and many of the Order members were executed.

Those who survived joined Darren and Warren in the Black Hand. It was then that Darren branded one of his many fleets the Black Hand and dedicated the rest to spreading the Order's influence around the galaxy. A great time of wealth and prosperity came and the still existing Galactic Senate started to notice the Clandestine group. They purged the Order from its ranks and hired numerous bounty hunters to kill Darren and Warren.

The Dark Times

As the Order's pirate and racketeering profits grew, so did their influence in the Outer Rim, obtaining new systems and sectors at a surprising rate. Warren had since gone into hiding on his homeworld with Nalaa. They had fraternal twins some time shortly after. Fearing that the twins would fight each other over succesion to the now vacant Lorelian throne, they sent one of the children to be raised by Darren on Nar Shadaa, far away from the other who stayed with them on Tatooine. It is unknown what name the exiled twin took or of his current whereabouts.

Tara Challon

Under constant duress and hunted by bounty hunters, the Jedi Knight Jacen Edgni came to Darren Bandaar for protection along with his padawan Tara Challon. Darren, who could bear no children of his own and had a stong need to appoint multiple successors to carry on his legacy, took them both into the RDO and began training Tara in military strategy and naval warfare.

The Death of Warren and Nalaa Tei-Yehn

As the Galactic Civil War escalated, Warren felt the need to make allies to protect himself from the order's many enemies. He enlisted in the Imperial Starfighter Corps and quickly became a decorated Ace while making many friends within the quickly expanding Empire. However, during a trip to visit his wife and child on Tatooine, he was killed by a bounty hunter hired by Muunda the Hutt. Muunda was a prominent Hutt crimelord on Tatooine and a member of the RDO who wanted Warren out of the way so he can increase his own influence within the group. Nalaa was caught in the crossfire, leaving Raigen Tei-Yehn orphaned as a toddler.

Raigen DarkBlayde Tei-Yehn

The only known surviving member of the Lorelian Royal Family, Raigen moved in with a Rodian family on Tatooine that ran a salvage yard. He quickly became quite a mechanic and by the age of twelve had refurbished an old YT-1300 freighter, the Gray Hawk. He began smuggling at a very young age, completing jobs under the careful eye of Darren Bandaar. At Fourteen he was admited into the Order. After many run ins with both the Corporate Sector Authority and the Empire, Raigen joined the Black Hand as a pirate to lay low for a while. When he was sixteen he began smuggling again, but he was captured by the CSA and sold into slavery shortly after the breakup of the Galactic Empire. An Imperial Remnant Group, the Vast Empire, liberated him from slavery and he joined their ranks(while keeping his close ties with the Order.
