Weaponry[edit]

Category A: Small Bladed Weapon[edit]

This includes any sharp-edged, hand-held weapon (including impromptu weapons) with a cutting edge under 18 centimeters long.

Category B: Large Bladed Weapon[edit]

This includes any sharp-edged, hand-held weapon (including impromptu weapons) with a cutting edge more than 18 centimeters long. This includes axes, polearms, and vibro-based weaponry (regardless of length).

Category C: Blunt Weapon[edit]

This includes any non-edged, hand-held weapon (including impromptu weapons). This category covers clubs, batons, and all shock weapons.

Category D: Projectile Weapon[edit]

This includes any weapon specifically designed for throwing, and any muscle-powered or mechanically-powered ranged weapon (longbows, crossbows, spears, etc.).

Category E: Light Pistol[edit]

This includes any revolver or semi-automatic pistol that utilizes rounds that do below a damage rating of 5D, energy- or archaic-technology.

Category F: Heavy Pistol[edit]

This includes any revolver or semi-automatic pistol that utilizes rounds that do a damage rating of 5D or above, energy- or archaic-technology.

Category G: Rifle[edit]

This includes any single-action rifle or manual-action shotgun (regardless of barrel length), energy- or archaic-technology. This also covers Wookiee Bowcasters.

Category H: Automatic Weapon[edit]

This includes any weapon whose rate of fire can exceed one per pull of the trigger (including all assault rifles, machine pistols, and sub-machine guns), energy- or archaic-technology. The weapon's capability to be set to fire once per pull of the trigger has no bearing and does not change the category.

Category I: Heavy Weapon[edit]

This includes all cannon, grenade launchers, machine- and chain-guns, and other heavy-caliber weapons, energy- or archaic-technology.

Category J: Explosives, High[edit]

This includes all explosives, grenades, and charges that create a damage rating above that of 6D. This covers propelled mixtures and demolition charges also.

Category K: Explosives, Minute[edit]

This includes all explosives, grenades and charges that create a damage rating below and including 6D. This covers detonite, mini- and micro-grenades and micronite.

Category L: Military Applications[edit]

This includes any armor (partial or full), regular or special purpose ammunition or weapons designated for law enforcement, military or security use provisioned by or for use of the Empire. Corporate licenses can on occasion negate this depending on circumstances.

Bioware[edit]

Class A Bioware (BA):[edit]

This includes all bioware of a paralegal nature, including damage compensators, pain editors and dampers.

Class B Bioware (BB):[edit]

This includes all bioware designated for law enforcement, military or security use. This includes augmentations to sensory centers (non-electric), enhanced eyes, neuro-shock hands and anti-toxin measures.

Class C Bioware (BC):[edit]

This includes all high-grade bioware, including pumps rated above 75%, augmentation rated above 60%, accelerators rated above 50%, Rimpacks, motion interface packages, sensory packages, and repulse-hands.

Cyberware[edit]

Category CA: Class A Cyberware[edit]

This includes all cyberware of a paralegal nature. This covers lacing (composite), plating, and internal voice masks.

Category CB: Class B Cyberware[edit]

This includes all cyberware designated for law enforcement, sector military (non-Imperial Armed Forces) or security use. This includes lacing (metallic), boosted reflexes, muscle replacement, tactical computers (level 1), cardio-muscular packages and vessels.

Category CC: Class C Cyberware[edit]

This covers all military-grade cyberware, including lacing (titanium and up), cortex bombs, headware, tactical computers (level 2 and up) and muscle augmentation that envelopes over 40% of the body.

Category CN: Netware[edit]

This includes all cyberware posessing networking capabilities, and their accompanying hard- and software, such as borg constructs, data-links, cyborg/droid interfaces and knoweledge cartridges.

Equipment[edit]

Category E1: Class A Equipment[edit]

This includes all equipment for use in any level of espionage. This can include software designed for use in conjunction with any existing hard- or software, such as spikes and personal tracking devices.

Category E2: Class B Equipment[edit]

This covers all equipment designated for law enforcement, sector military (non-Imperial Armed Forces) or security use. This includes codebreakers, taps (stationary), passkeys or cards labeled for use as such, trip devices, voice ID items and retinal ID items.

Category E3: Class C Equipment[edit]

This includes all military designated equipment, for the express use of the Imperial Armed Forces.

Substances[edit]

Category M1: Class A Controlled[edit]

This includes controlled chemicals and pharmaceuticals.

Category M2: Class B Controlled[edit]

This includes microbiological warfare agents or any organic substance for military use.

Category M3: Class C Controlled[edit]

This includes ANY perishable or consumable items which are embargoed from a specific system(s).

Category M4: Class D Controlled[edit]

This includes all chemical or organic substances illicitly created and transported for the express use for entertainment or in lieu of legitimate pharmaceuticals.
