The Seventh Vast Imperial Fleet is comprised of a combination of new or retired and refitted Imperial starships and assorted New Republic ships that have been captured or produced at Imperial shipyards and fitted to NR specifications. Unlike standard fleets, the Seventh Fleet has a single taskforce and two support taskforces, one comprised of NR ships, the others of vessels specifically tasked for intelligence and special operations. The two support taskforces and their starfighter wings are not included in VEN's taskforce or wing assignment systems as they are established organizationally for covert action. Ships from these taskforces may be used in other operations and in this case will fill standard VE taskforces as normal. Only the primary naval assets of the Seventh Fleet are counted in official VEN resources.
