Description: Clone shock troopers are specialist clone troopers introduced towards the end of the Clone Wars to increase security and order on Republic worlds. These red-emblazoned troops become a familiar and unsettling sight across Galactic City on Coruscant.

Shock troopers wear the Phase II armour common to all clone troopers serving in the final year of the Clone Wars, though these special forces sport striped red markings to denote their position. In addition, the armor kit has upgraded air filters and vocoders to address the needs of an urban posting. Shock troopers patrol public plazas and keep watch on government buildings and landing platforms. With the introduction of identity cards in Galactic City, even the most influential Senators find themselves questioned by loyal shock troopers.

Shock troops fall under the command of Homeworld Security, and are deployed by Palpatine's War Council Advisory Panel. Many on Coruscant despise the changes sweeping their planet, but are unable to act upon these measures thanks to the very security details they resent.
