About the System[edit]
The Vectra System, located in the southwestern corner of Vast Empire space does not have quite as much to offer as some of the other systems under Vast Empire control, though the location, landscape, and nearby asteroid belt of the moon Abrae make it an ideal choice for the Vast Empire Navy's headquarters.
The Planets[edit]
Strak[edit]
Unlike the first planets in the Rheagent, Sian, and Shykar systems, Strak possesses the mineral resources to be of interest to the Vast Empire. Unfortunately, an aggressive race of humanoids known as Cleoggi inhabit the planet and don't take kindly to strangers invading their soil. As a result, the planet remains untouched.
Berchat[edit]
As a hot and barren planet, outsiders have little in interest in Berchat. However, due to its positioning in the system the Vast Empire Navy has set up a small outpost on the planet in order to hold control of the system. It also has some mining potential, though its resources are currently untapped.
Tague[edit]
Rich with resources, the gas giant of Tague posses one moon, Abrae.
Abrae[edit]
The moon Abrae is the home for the Vast Empire Navy. Its mountains and valleys provide for easily defensible locations for bases and other important structures. The planet also has an asteroid belt outfitted with hangars and gun platforms that combined with the planet's central location in the system makes it a key planet in the Vast Empire.
Etchik[edit]
Like Daylid of the Rheagent System, the last planet in orbit around Vectra's star is also a barren rock. Etchik serves no purpose to the Vast Empire.
