THE VE TODAY SPOTLIGHT

Well, isn't this fun? Welcome my fellow Imperials to another issue of The VE Today Spotlight! Well, my next guest is from "within the ranks". He's recently bumped up his activity to "Wow", so give it all up for Corporal Kairo!
*Plays the sound of applause*
VE Today: *Takes a sip of his coffee and taps his fingers on his desk* Well, thank you for coming onto the show, Kairo. Good to have you. Anyway, enough of the window-dressing, it's time to get down to the dirty and gritty work. So, how did you originally find The Vast Empire?
Kairo: I originally found the VE when my brother showed it. It was when he had come home for a visit from college and he showed me it and singed me up. You might know him. He is in the Navy side. He name is Solo.
VE Today: Ah yeah. I know that He-Guy, yeah, Solo. You should talk to Merrick, she really knows a lot of that He-stuff. Anyway, what do you think about our current activity situation at hand, and what changes would you make (if any) to increase activity?
Kairo: Our current situation is pretty bad. I think all we need is a good AWOL check and that if people don't write or get active they should also get like a Minny AWOL. Like a warning. If they get a warning of low activity 3 times then I think they
should get AWOL. I mean saying you are busy, but I am here shouldn't cut it. So I think they should be AWOL by their actions.
VE Today: Do you think maybe we should have a special award for the inactives? Maybe a hard-hat with an "L" right smack in the middle? *shrugs* Just kiddin' folks! I'm not really that bad!... or am I? What do you think of the members? On a scale of 1 to 10?
Kairo: On the whole I would give it an 8, but in individual groups I think we are about a 6.
VE Today: Do you have a particular role model you try to mold yourself after? If so, what attributes does that individual have that make you view him or her as a role model?
Kairo: Not really. I don't have a role model. I just try to improve myself anyway I can. And if it is wrong well then I will try again.
VE Today: Well, if what you're doing is wrong, then maybe a good piece of advice to give is for everyone to wrong themselves? Hmm. Interesting concept. Good thinkin' kid! What's your favorite Star Wars movie, and why?
Kairo: My favorite star wars movie would be The Empire Strikes Back. Not really. My favorite is the very first one I saw. A New Hope. The reason would be is that is where I got started with Star Wars.
VE Today: I'm an Empire Strikes Back fella myself. Do you consider yourself a good trooper/member? Why?
Kairo: I do consider myself a good trooper. Compared with our current troops I am better than some. That is why I am a SL.
VE Today: Who is your favorite Star Wars character and why?
Kairo: My favorite would have to be Boba Fett or Janga Fett, because of their cool weaponry. They are also very powerful even without the force. In the books it would have to be Anakin Skywalker because he was cool until he died recently.
VE Today: Describe your character. What are his likes and dislikes?
Kairo: My character just likes to sit around a table of Sabacc and have some good laughs with friends. He also likes to mess around with bombs. The bigger the explosion the better.
VE Today: What has been your favorite moment thus far in The Vast Empire?
Kairo: When I was ranked CPL and made the SL of DD.
VE Today: Ah, becoming SL and promotions. Best darndest feeling in the world, ain't it? In my day, we had Twi'leks in the Academy to keep the adrenaline up. Do they still have 'em in hanging from those cages? Hmm. What did you have for breakfast?
Kairo: I had orange juice and some eggs. a good balanced breakfast.
VE Today: Perhaps, but Dragoon's sounds more interesting.
