3ds-Making Tie for the lazy ones[edit]
create or get a decent referances.
i'm using this
top image
front image
side image
go to create>plane
make a plane using the same dimension of your images or it's multiplier

do the same with the other images
the current result should be something like this

gives it material matching your reff so it look like this

Freeze them all
Create a sphere with the same size and position as your reff
Making it see-through will help
image03 animated
Hide the sphere and start creating the wing

image04b transparent
