The Completely Unofficial Star Wars Encyclopedia or CUSWE is a joint effort of people at the fan site TheForce.Net to compile and assemble everything there is to know about Star Wars, from the thousands of planets to species and races, from weapons to ships, and from languages to creatures. They note that it is unofficial for it is not connected to Lucasfilm in any way, other than being a fan site.
The encyclopedia was created and is managed by Bob Vitas. He strongly encourages people to ask permission before copying content from the CUSWE to elsewhere. Imperial Center has an agreement with him for store item information.
