General Creighton Cierva is a former Republic and Imperial officer, reactivated by the Vast Empire to organize and train the newly formed conscript and militia forces after the advent of the Plague Wars.

Biography[edit]
A veteran of the Clone Wars, Cierva was instrumental in bringing the second generation clone units into cohesion with the existing clone lines, thus ending a divisive issue that threatened to sunder the morale of the troops as they transitioned into the nascent Imperial ranks.
Originally, Cierva was a member of the Corellian Defense Forces, a draftee from Sacorria who faced a rough transition away from a rough-and-tumble farm community. He gained recognition as a fearless close-in combat specialist in anti-piracy campaigns.
When the Clone Wars began, volunteers were requested to join the non-clone legions and Cierva was among the first in line. After seeing combat on Hypori, Jabiim, Ryloth, Geonosis, Mygeeto, and Anaxes, he experienced a serious injury on Boz Pity and recouped on Kaliida Shoals Medical Center, known primarily as a clone trooper medical facility. It was here that he grew to learn the traditions of the Jango-series clones, particularly some of the commando troopers.
While still rehabilitating, Cierva was promoted to major and assigned as a training officer, utilizing Jango-series clones as training sergeants for the new clone series trainees. Knowing that the existing strains would not easily take to their unwelcome "brothers", Cierva worked at working around the bureaucratic strictures and created a professional unit cohesion instead of the "all clones are alike" mindset that had created the problem in the first place. News got around that at least one officer in the ranks could see past the rows of similar faces and see the men inside. In the Imperial Army, once the Jedi were gone, this was a true rarity. Cierva won the loyalty of his troops, and created enemies in the hierarchy.
He continued working with the clone troops, becoming General of a multi-sector army as the Empire enforced the New Order. His clones aged, his injuries increasingly limited him, and his enemies rose to power, gaining the ears of the influential at Imperial Center. And so, he retired, first home to Sacorria, then to the Outer Rim. Eventually he found himself as part of the refugee population that came to Vast Empire space. He was immediately recognized for his military experience and granted immediate citizenship in return for his knowledge of whipping soldiers into shape.
Now he finds himself the architect of a new army, and having the ear of the Vast Empire leadership.
