Erehwon, also known as Erawan, was a planet in the Naroon sector that was set aside for occupation for the Vast Empire by the New Emperium. It's inhospitable environs made it perfectly suited for use as an enclave for the Dark Jedi Order.

Erehwon is dominated by enormous, vibrant rain forests, home to countless species of flora and fauna that form a complex ecosystem. It is also ringed by tall and long volcanic mountain ranges. Due to its toxic atmosphere, most species require a breath mask to survive on the planet's surface.

Due to its inhospitable environment, Erehwon is a rare find, a planet that has almost no mark of habitation. In that, it seems tailor made for a sect requiring discretion and secrecy.
