History[edit]
An NR Correlian Corvette is captured by VE forces but the corvette is captured by pirate forces. Aegis squadron is sent on a probing mission on Asteroid Prime to comb out the pirates and follow them to their base. A cargo ship, Rough Ride, transport Nazgul and their gunboats to Asteroid prime and the squadron splits up, wearing street clothes and infiltrating the local scene. Senior Crewman Raigen snuck away from the group to visit a local weapons supplier where he learned the pirate's location by chance. Unfortunately, he shot out a security camera on his way there, alerting the local authorities to their presence. While trying to avoid local authorities and regroup, most of the squadron meets up at a local cantina. Flight Member Gemini is captured by the local authorities at the cantina and Hunter is later captured to let Raigen go and get help. Gemini and Hunter are both tortured while in captivity. Nazgul squadron plans and carries out an infiltration of the authority base to rescue Hunter and Gemini. Templar uses his sniper to take out enemies while Rusty and Malo make a distraction at the entrance. Hunter had lost an eye in torture and Gemini was killed by a pirate's bullet to save Hunter. Raigen also lost part of his hand to a vibroblade during the rescue. The rest of the squadron was unharmed but had to escape, abandoning hopes of finding the corvette. During escape aboard the Rough Ride, three pirate fighters attacked the vessle. Chipmunk was forced to stun Hunter and confine him to his quarters so that he would not insist on flying.
Mission Objectives[edit]
Infiltrate the local black market at Asteroid Prime to see if any Corvettes or new energy generators have entered the market.
Either follow or find the pirate's who are responsible for taking the Corvette base and capturing it.
Once it is secure, we'll send out a message to a waiting skeleton crew, who will transfer from their shuttle into the Corvette and take it to a secure area.
