Appearance

Short and curvy with slightly muscular arms and legs. Hair ends halfway down her back in a somewhat choppy cut, rarely seen out of a ponytail, if not in uniform, it tends to be a sloppy ponytail. Pale scars on the back of her right hand, above her left collar bone and on the right flank on her back due to a dagger. Has a tattoo on her upper back just below her neck, a pink and yellow flower that grows on Naboo and blooms once every eighty-eight years. A minor curve on the corner of her lips gives the impression she's smirking or smiling many times, though she genuinely smiles a lot. Her almond shaped eyes, high arched brows and full lips are generally attractive. When not on duty, she tends to dress techno-punk. She has several piercings in both her ears and one in her bellybutton, the one in her bellybutton being the only one that she wears when in uniform, since no one can see it then. She tends to stand with her head held up and with confidence but with a relaxed posture.

Personality

Jaz is a firecracker, short fuse at times and quick to jump into a fight even if she is isn't very strong. She values loyalty and if she considers you her friend, will always have your back. With an outgoing personality, she'll talk to anyone and says things how they are. Sometimes lacking a filter on her mouth, she will say inappropriate things, though she's working on that. She also can't stand when she's curious about something and will research or ask questions even if it becomes annoying, until she finds the answers or at least til she can't find any. As the saying goes, she works hard and parties harder. She prefers to be a team member rather than a leader, not wanting the responsibility of other's lives on her shoulders. She has a photographic memory and can remember most events in her life in great detail, with the exception of times she's been inebriated, which due to her size, is easy for her to become. Laid back, travels light, is not attached to many materialistic items.

History

Jazmina was born in Theed, to an elite Naboo family. Her father owns a plasma trading company which affords their rich lifestyle. She was the youngest of three with two older brothers. To her mother's dismay, Jaz preferred to climb trees and learn how to drive vehicles rather than play with other girls. More comfortable with droids than children she went to school with, she learned binary. She found living life just to be pampered and cared for empty. Not surprisingly, at 16 she ran away from home. She changed her last name and became a spacer, picking up odd jobs helping out with freight, waiting tables, doing basic repairs on a spacecraft or whatever she could to jump around the galaxy. Unbeknownst to her, she was constantly searching for something. She made friends easily in her travels but also got in trouble a little too often. She worked to become stronger but realized she needed to learn to fight. She traveled to Eshan and stayed a few years to learn Echani fighting. Then she met someone practiced in Teräs Käsi and after some persuading, became his student for a couple years. A couple years after parting with him, she was traveling with a pilot who offered to show her how to fly. He told her she was a natural with quick reflexes and a quick mind in his opinion as a former VEN officer. He also informed her if she was looking for a family, the best spacecrafts and the best training, she'd find no better place than the VE. After some thought, she finds herself at the Naval Academy of the Vast Empire itching to find herself in a smaller, highly maneuverable spacecraft. She holds the hope she finds what she is looking for with her duties...purpose.
