Biography

Appearance

Keedra is built slim, with well-toned core, leg, and arm muscles, and long, slender hands. She stands at a fairly average height, and carries herself in a proud, upright manner, which serves to give her person a confident, commanding appearance. In typical movement, she is slow and graceful, only hurrying if the situation absolutely calls for it.

Personality

In combat, she's a cool, level head, capable easily of rallying squadmates otherwise rendered combat ineffective. She is also capable of making quick tactical decisions at the drop of a pin, though these decisions, to experienced officers, may seem irrational and insane, though her brand of thought does seem to have an odd way of removing her from sticky situations. Out of combat, she is quiet, only really speaking if directly addressed. As a pilot specifically, she cares nothing for flight manuals, preferring to operate on instinct rather than book-learning, though she finds the latter useful in trying to figure out the control surfaces of TIE-model fighters. To the Empire, those she deems friends, and squadmates, she is fiercely loyal, and has not once in her life breathed a word of dissent. Missions, she takes with grave seriousness, be they simulated or real, and she views any starfighter into which she climbs as an extension of herself rather than piece of equipment, and dogfighting as a long, deadly dance.

History

Keedra was born on Ryloth in city Kala'uun, in year 10 BBY, into a family of four; Being her mother, father, and 6-year-old brother. In year 4 BBY, they moved as a family to Mos Eisley, Tatooine, where her father found a job as a mechanic, and her mother stayed from work to raise the two; Though for the majority of the time, it was just herself and Keedra, as her now twelve-year-old brother would often aid their father in repairing and building of starships and vehicles. Keedra never saw work as a mechanic, though she did regularly visit her father's shop, and from an early age was taught the basics of flight panels from anything ranging from light, privateer starfighters to YT-series freighters. As much as she could, she studied starfighter maneuvering and the Twin Ion Engine design; As she had made up her mind, even at this early age to enlist with the Imperial Navy. 0 ABY, her brother at 16 had decided that he would be setting off to join the Rebellion, as things looked very well for Imperial defeat and end of its tyrannical rule over the Galaxy. She was not swayed from her decision to fly TIE-fighters for the Empire, and as a result of this, her very close friendship with her brother ended. Over a political view. Thus, she watched him leave, absent loving goodbye. For a great deal of time, she reclused herself, continuing study in private, gathering any material she could on the theoretical workings of Imperial combat ships. As such materials were secreted by the Empire, for good reason; Largely, her method of obtaining study came from the support of her parents, and her father's friends in the "Underworld". It would still be seven years that she could join the Navy, with her parent's consent. Seven years, spent preparing herself for her self-assigned task. At long last, the time came. Her father was even so gracious as to accompany her to the nearest recruiting office and provide there his written consent for her to enlist.
