The Multi Altitude Assault Transport the succesor of the LAAT/i if. A rugged, combat ready repulsorcraft used to deploy its stormtroopers, unlike the LAAT/i it had armor on the bubble, and had an extra wing.

Mhe MAAT/i is armed with manyweapons, a missile launcher, and laser cannons. unlike the LAAT, the MAAT is capable of transporting stormtroopers to higher altitudes, and locations such as; upper atmospheric areas as well as starships horbitting a planet.

A MAAT was even capable of flying short distances through space in order to reach capital ships.
