Geographic Features[edit]

The surface of Misoo consists of several continents as well as dangerous seas. As a result, only the continent by the name of Sira is inhabited at this time presumably because the surrounding waters are too rough for the natives to travel elsewhere. Sira is made up predominantly of a low-lying rain forest, though mountain ranges on the coast protect the inhabitants from the oceans. A few rivers also run through the continent and their banks are where the villagers had initially chosen to settle.

Flora and Fauna[edit]

Asaldi flowers: Tangerine in colour, these flowers are the dominant flora of the planet. Located in the trees, they exist in such great numbers that they give the jungle a predominantly orange colour.

Peyo flowers: A species of flower made known by the Temple of Balai, their beauty is unmatched anywhere else on the planet.

Society[edit]

Inhabitants[edit]

Consisting predominantly (if not completely) of humans, the entire population of Misoo reside on Sira. Over time, the people split into five 'groups' and in the process migrated to various parts of the continent. Four religious temples inhabit the corners of Sira, while the capital city of Jeeda sits conveniently in the middle the middle.

Government[edit]

Currently, the planet of Misoo is under monarchical rule with Lord Tenett at its head. As would be expected, he along with the rest of the royal family reside at the great palace in Jeeda.

History[edit]

The Beginnings[edit]

Initially, the native people of Misoo had chosen to inhabit the many riverbanks that weaved their way through Sira. As a civilization in its early stages they were a peaceful people with a lack of knowledge about the outside world.

Religious Influence[edit]

As time went on, various myths were formed regarding the beautiful lands on which they lived. These stories were soon used to form religions, and in doing so produced several individuals who were dedicated to spreading the teachings of their respective religions all over the continent. The spreading of religion throughout the land inspired the inhabitants to construct the four temples found on the continent.

The effects of this religious influence was incredible, as their teachings allowed many of their members to find their own path. Those that did sought a place at which they could share their ideas, and so city of Jeeda was formed.

Help From the Stars[edit]

Although the religious impact of the planet was firmly in place; travelers from the stars, descending in flying crafts also played a major part in the advance of the Misoon people. They brought with them further techniques and teachings that greatly affected the further development of the population into a truly civilized civilization. Unfortunately for the travelers, fear amongst the people (most likely incited by the leaders of the religious temples) resulted in the execution of the offworlders.

Arrival of the Empire[edit]

Although the inhabitants had managed to eradicate the previous travelers to their planet, this would not be the case when Imperial Star Destroyers arrived in the orbit of the planet. The Imperial faction known as the Vast Empire had come to the planet with hopes of initiating mining operations. With such overwhelming power on their side, the planet was taken with little opposition.

After four years of occupation, the people of the temples once again feared what the presence of offworlders would do to their planet. In response to the unwelcome visitors, the leaders pushed the surrounding villagers to stage and insurrection. The result was a massacre, as hundreds of locals perished without managing to kill a single enemy.

Imperials Here to Stay?[edit]

Following the failed revolt, the leaders of the Vast Empire decided to further bolster their defenses on the planet by building a pair of bases outside the inhabited section of the continent. Arming them with three squadrons of TIEs a piece(including one squadron of TIE Bombers to be used if the temples stepped out of line), the Imperials managed to intimidate the natives to the point that they were allowed to integrate into the population. It has been ten years since the first incident occurred.
