Petty Officer 1st Class

Overview

Rate for members who have stayed active and attained more experience. This is generally the lowest rate at which members will start to be considered for low-level leadership positions (Flight Leader in the Starfighter Corps, or Team Leader in Fleet Command). They are addressed as "Petty Officer."

The ID Line tag for this rank is: PO1

Position

Any member holding the rank of Petty Officer 1st Class ranks directly above a Petty Officer 2nd Class and directly below a Chief Petty Officer.
