Call sign: Preditor
Race: Barabel
Age: 22
Ht: 2.01m
Wt: 125.2kg
Appearance: Like most of his species Loctak has a reptilian tail and sharp fangs. His claws are bone white and extremely sharp; this makes them useful for climbing or fighting. Rising from his collarbone to his neck is a thick scar courtesy of one of his hatch mates.
Eyes: Red
Scales: Charcoal black with a wavy red pattern.
Home World: Barab 1

Personality: Preditor is just as the Barabel species are rumored to be, he has an extremely quick temper that goes along with his somewhat savage nature. Though he understands basic, he is a little preplexed by some Human emotions, they are not expressed in the same way as his. He is very protective of his hatch mates, he sometimes extends this towards others but it is extremely rare.

Skills: Loctak has an innate ability to see in the dark; his species see things in the infra-red due to living underground. He is a superb hunter and an excellent hand to hand fighter with his natural weapons, his claws hands and teeth. Barabel's scales make it so they can shrug off stun shots.

History: Preditor grew up in the underground caves of Barab 1. His family was shunned by the rest of the tribes as they failed to see what made the Jedi so superior, they were only legends after all and it had occured over 900 years ago. Going into hiding with his family brought about an even greater closeness between Preditor and his two other hatch mates.

Through his parents Loctak learned to enjoy the hunt, tracking down prey and slaughtering it with his claws. He became adapt at quick kills, usually biting in the neck or slashing the stomach open. It was during one of these hunting trips that his hatch mate Locand was killed by an off world game hunter.

Standing on the edge of a cliff Loctak and Locand where scanning the horizon looking for prey, smelling the crisp night air a scent wafted up from behind them. Both turned around only to see a rifle barrel pointed at them. The hunter shot hitting the ground before Loctak dirt flew everywhere sending both of the Barabels into a rage. If Loctak had been the first to attack then this story would have ended here but instead it was Locand.

As the creatures closed the distance the hunter readied another shot, this bolt pierced through Locand's heart before exiting out his back, his lifeless body plummeted off the cliff. Leaping into the air Loctak swung his right hand slicing into the shoulder of the hunter nearly ripping it off. Spinning around his tail caught the human under the chin sending him flying backwards and unconscious.

The Barabel carried the unconscious hunter back to his family to recant the story of what happened, but he never made it back. The hunter's friends laid in ambush, when Loctak entered a clearing they all fired stun bolts. Though Barabel's are very resistant to stunning, the overwhelming pounding of them overloaded his nervous system sending him into shock.

Waking up days later feeling groggy and drugged Preditor saw he was surrounded by others of his kind and other species. They had taken him to an enslavement camp to be sold as fodder to the highest bidder. Held at the camp for weeks or months he lost track of time, the slavers where slowly chipping away at his will trying to break him. Loctak desperately tried to fight, but he was outnumbered and beaten.

After one extremely harsh day working in the mines his salvation came in the face of gleaming white armor. Imperial Stormtroopers raided the camp killing the slavers and inadvertently freed the captives. Later it was found out that the mines contained resources needed by the Empire, though what type was never told.

Seeing the Empire as a ray of hope Loctak enlisted in the Stormtrooper corps, hoping to be one of those white knights that rescued him. Though he yearns to once again see his hatch mate and mourn the lose of Locand.
