Ship Captain Training Program, Section II[edit]

You've completed the first Section of your training, Midshipman. Well done. You're one step closer to your first real taste of writing as the Captain of a VE ship. In order to advance to Section III of your training, the following requirements must be met:

Requirements:

  • NPCs
    • Need to introduce at least two (2) new Non-Player Characters into your ship's crew, and work them into your storyline.
      • Note: At this point it is probably a good idea to continue developing at least two of the following, as they will be the crew you will interact with the most generally in your stories: Helmsman, Chief Engineer, Executive Officer, Communications Officer
  • Story
    • Again, 2 post minimum, however both this week are for the SCTP. In the first required post, your PC must meet and begin interacting with the 1st and 2nd NPCs that you have created, aboard your Warden-class ship (500 word minimum). The second required post should detail the transfer of your 3rd crewmember from whatever you've imagined their previous assignment to be, to your Warden-class ship, where they will be training in their new position/role under your command. This post must be entirely from the NPC point of view, and must include their orders and their preparations to transfer, ending with their boarding the shuttle that will take them to your Warden-class training ship (500 word minimum).
  • Wiki
    • Maintain your own Wiki Page, and keep it updated.
    • Create wiki pages for the NPCs you have created in this section. They will all need to have at least a Basic wiki page.
    • Update the wiki page(s) for the NPC(s) you created in Section I. They need to be at least at an Intermediate level, now, before you can move on.
  • Reports
    • You must report to your TO, the FTO (Fleet Training Officer), and the CNT outlining what you have completed in this section.

Upon completion of this section (and approval from your training officer), proceed to Section III.
