Ship Captain Training Program Section IV

Welcome to the final section of your training for the Ship Captain Training Program. Once you complete this section of your training you will have completed the program, and will take up your position within the ranks of the Vast Empire Navy as a Ship Captain, and will command your very own Warden Class Light Cruiser.

Requirements

In order to successfully pass this section of the training, the following must be done:

• NPCs
  • You will select 5 of the NPCs that you have created thus far, and will have them assigned to your ship as crew, while the remaining 1-3 will be attached to the academy for further development by the Academy Staff.
  • You are being assigned 10 NPCs with the rank of Crewman for your shakedown cruise, you need to get names for them.
• Story
  • You must complete your shakedown cruise, refer below for the requirements.
• Wiki
  • Keep your wiki updated
  • Create/update Wiki for the ship you are taking command of
  • Your 5 NPCs that you select require wiki pages of Advanced level.
  • The 10 NPC Crewmen require a wiki page of the Basic level.

Shakedown

You have come to the final story that you must complete before you are able to join the ranks of the Ship Captains of the Vast Empire Navy. The story you write is mainly up to you, with just a brief outline being provided by us here.

• Requirements:
  • Name: (Ship Name):(Callsign):Shakedown Cruise
    • E.G. Fearless:Slasher:Shakedown Cruise
  • 5 posts of 500+ words
    • The larger and better quality your posts, the better you will do.
  • Must include:
    • 2 posts from NPC viewpoint
    • 1 post of combat systems testing (can be from any viewpoint)
    • 2 posts with heavy NPC interaction

Completion

Upon completion of your story, you need to put together the following, and send them to your Training Officer, the Executive Officer of the Academy, and the Commander of Naval Training, in a ComNet PM.

Graduation

Well that's it, you have sent everything through, and all you can do now is wait. Pretty soon someone should get back to you regarding the final outcome of your training, and your ship should move from its position attached to the Academy, to an assignment in one of the active Task Forces.
