Goals[edit]
The purpose of this mission was to weaken New Republic grasp on Mrlsst and make contact with resistance forces that will provide assistance for planned action in the general area. (See Chapter 8.5)
In addition, the knowledge of the location of an New Republic ship yard is supposedly know by Mr. Kelsek. The VE desires to know this information.
Mission Debriefing[edit]
Stonefish and Yillis left Tadath via civilian shuttle using alias of a delivery company executive. Meanwhile, the other four ARCs would meet Petty Officer Tr'lisa in the Navy base in orbit above Tadath, where they will wait for an encrypted signal from Fish.
On Mrlsst with no difficulty, Fish and Yillis make contact with Hirron, an 'independent entrepreneur' of shady dealings on the planet. Hirron made the arrangements for the other ARC group to make it past customs officials without having their cargo investigated in exchange for ten thousand credits in the forms of films. With the instructions from Hirron, Ramon Stonefish sent the signal to the waiting group to start their run for Mrlsst.
The delievery group arrived on Mrlsst with no difficulties and bypassed customs with Hirron's phrase of "Satia spice from Lactos." The crates would be delivered to the Mrlssti Freedom Group, while Fish met with Hirron for a second, and final, meeting to gain information on Kelsek. Hirron would make arrangements for the intel to be picked up at a food cart for the price of twenty thousand credits, once again in flimsi form.
After two days, Tanus, Riqimo and Garet asked the Balosar working the food cart for the "House Special," which was a small package of requested information. Back at the hotel, Fish would analyze the data, and Riqimo would gather the necessary maps for the team. (Map 1; Map 2; Map 3; Map 4)
The team, minus Yillis who was piloting the craft, made a HALO jump later that night into the jungle near the Kelsek villa. Regrouping on the ground, they proceeded to the edge of a cliff overlooking the villa. After assessing the defenses, the team agreed that Riqimo would descend the cliff via stealthy rappelling and the rest of ARC would take the path down the cliff. Riqimo would disable the two guards at the gate and then allow the rest of the team in. Once in, they proceeded along the wall towards the back of the villa. Garet would fumble with his gun and bring attention towards their general area. Hurrying ahead, the team made it to the wooden shed ahead, save Fish, who stayed back in shadows. When the investigating guard came close, Fish grabbed him into the shadows and pulled him back to the shed for some minor questioning.
With some quick discussion, the team split into individuals to find their own methods of infilteration into the villa.
