Squadron Officers' List

The following is the general list of reminders for men and women of the squadron command positions (SC and XO.) Note that, though this is not totally necessary, things have been scheduled so that the majority of the important things (AWOL checks, wiki and webpage updates, monthly planning), are not all done in the same week. This is done so that the commander is not over loaded and some sense of organization can be established. Furthermore, the XO is given control of the squadron for a week to gain experience and further their involvement with the group. This can be worked in such a way that the SC and XO interchange constantly, acting as the same entity, work as seperate people but split the responsibilities, or simply work as was suggested originally. More than anything, let it be understood that these responsibilities are shared between the two of them to help maintain the entire squadron- these should all be done within the month if they are needed. Feel free to add comments in parenthesis below the main article, Commanders- have we missed anything?

Monthly Squadron Regimen

First Week

 - Make sure that a plan for the rest of the month's activity has been developed
 - Do a story/activity evaluation- find out who is struggling and where
 - Hold meeting on first occurrence of pre-planned date, such as the first Friday of that month.
 - Continue to post consistently on both story or other active works and the main squadron portal.
 - Ensure the roster has been updated
 - Ensure that reports are received from entire squadron for this first week
 - Send report to Wing Commander

Second Week

 - Report back or put into action orders from the Wing Commander
 - Ensure the Squadron Page has been updated
 - Ensure the Squadron Wiki page has been updated
 - Continue to post consistently on both story or other active works and the main squadron portal.
 - Ensure that reports are received from flight leaders
 - Send report to Wing Commander

Third Week

 - Report back or put into action orders from the Wing Commander
 - Ask the XO to take temporary SC control for a week or ensure that constant communication within
   the group is established and working.
 - Hold meeting for new members and comparisons over the last month
 - Make sure wiki is updated for Ranks and Fleet Medal Board
 - Continue to post consistently on both story or other active works and the main squadron portal.
 - Ensure that reports are received from entire squadron.
 - Send report to Wing Commander

Fourth (Final) Week

 - Report back or put into action orders from the Wing Commander
 - Analyze posting and other activity over the month for promotions/proficiency updates
 - Ask that members have updated their wikis' if changes have been made
 - Take head count- look at activity and update roster as necessary
 - Continue to post consistently on both story or other active works and the main squadron portal.
 - Ensure that reports are received from flight leaders.
 - Send report to Wing Commander.
