Background History

Tara was born on Tatoine, in not the best of conditions. Her family had lived on the planet for many generations as farmers or tradesmen in the larger cities. Her parents owned a local cantina, her father working as the bartender and her mother was in charge of the dancers. Unfortunately they fell on hard times and had to borrow money from the hutts. A decision which proved to be fatal in the end. When her father was unable to repay the hutt on time bounty hunters started to terrorize the small family. They stole, stalked the dancers, ransacked the cantina after hours. When all of that only made revenues go down even more, the hutt sent in a team of mercs to take the small family one day after work. The three of them were left in the desert to die, but they didn't have to wait for that. Sandpeople found the family and took them all just before dawn. They were held in captivity for days, beaten and tortured until her mother was the first to succumb. Her father followed shortly after, in anger he tried to attack the sandpeople but in his weakend state the sandpeople killed him easily.

Tara, after watching her parents die had enough. She broke her restraints and slipped out in the night. She wanted to take her revenge but knew she would face the same fate as her father. She was found days later, near death by a slaver. The man she was enslaved to was a former stormtrooper, he worked as a weapons dealer in Mos Eisley. He taught her all about the weapons they sold and repaired and how to use them.

When she turned eighteen they reached an agreement that he would free her as long as she agreed to join the Vast Empire as a stormtrooper herself.

Tara is stern, proud, tough, aggressive, logical, calculating and strong. She is not the type of person you would find getting a drink with her fellow troopers. Tara is feared by most people who know her and she loves that reputation.
