Background History[edit]

Michael was born on accident. His mother, Melana, had been raped by a local gang leader, Larin. Larin is notorious for setting up one of the largest Death Stick distribution organizations in the in the darkest and most foul of the gutters on Coruscant. When Melana had given birth to Mike, Larin had been informed by his network of snitches and bribed officials of his son's birth, and through those connections, learned of Melana's plan to escape with their son. Knowing that Larin would kill her along with their son, his mother cradled her newborn son and fled to the upper levels of the city, where the security patrols were constantly on guard, and ever vigilant for threats that would disrupt the everyday peace. She thought that they'd be safe where the more respected members of society reigned supreme. But, Larin, thinking that Melana would use their son as leverage to bring down his criminal empire, had stopped at nothing until he had found both Melana and his son. Larin's thugs had brutally beaten Melana to death and brought her son back down into the bowels of Coruscant to be presented to their leader, Larin.

Larin, having to set an example for his underlings, decided to leave Michael in the deepest and most violent part of the gutters. But, he had a increasingly strong will to survive. Miraculously, he had survived from the age of one, up until he was seven, when he was trained and forced to fight in illegal matches against other abducted children. Sadly, Michael was a natural at winning. Even though it meant taking the lives of other children his age, Michael's handler, a heavyset Twi'lek named Tarko, had devised a way to force Michael to want and, eventually, like to fight. If Michael lost, he was starved until his next match, and when he won, his handler would feed him, which forced Michael to dig deep and fight even harder. This cycle continued until, at the age of eleven, when Michael realized that he didn't need Tarko, and he smothered the slave master while he slept. After disposing of Tarko's body, Michael had finally slept in a bed, for the first time since his mother was murdered. The next night, Michael set out into the gutters once again, looking for his place in this violent underworld.

The Coruscant, being the unforgiving place that it is, especially for an eleven year-old, afforded very limited choices in terms of a career. Michael knew if he wanted to live, he would have to keep fighting. Though, when he won, he was able to buy himself nourishment and many other necessities. Eventually the Coruscant police discovered the highly illegal fights and arrested, detained, or executed any and everyone who had knowledge of their existence. Michael, at the age of twelve and sitting in jail, realized that he had to straighten up before he became another one of Coruscant's thugs. After all, it was the very same thugs who had murdered his mother in front of him. Since the military academies weren't producing as many non-clone soldiers as the Republic needed, Michael was forced to attend Coruscant's most prestigious military academy for six years until he was at the peek of perfection, in terms of strength, willpower, and Intelligence. He graduated at the top of his class, and knowing nothing other than how to kill and survive on his own, Michael was looking for some grueling and demeaning work that the planet sized city had to offer.

For a few months, Michael jumped around different parts of Coruscant. Until he was contacted by one of the planet's many Imperial Agents and contracted to kill a major kingpin in the gutters of the planet, as a test of Michael's resolve and willingness to get the job done. This Kingpin, having his fingers in everything from Medical research to Biological Weapons and Arms distribution, was wanted dead by a majority of the Lower class citizens of Coruscant, and by most of the ambitious members of the Empire. Over the course of a few weeks, Michael had, with great ease, done exactly what he was being paid to do. Single-handedly dismantle the Kingpin's crime syndicate and kill anyone who got in his path, including anyone who had and dealings with him, their associates, and even there associate's families, until finally only the Kingpin himself remained. As Michael was closing in, the Kingpin, being a coward and used to threats on his life, activated a silent alarm. Which sent out an emergency page to the entire bribed Coruscant Security Force Larin was paying on the side.

But that didn't save him. Soon enough, Michael had ended his pathetic excuse for a life like he was hired for. After having killed him, and dissolving the rest of the Crime Lord's syndicate, Michael was later informed by his employer that he had actually killed his father. So, Michael was facing the death penalty, the judge bribed by one of Larin's former allies. But had granted Michael the decision to choose between joining the Galactic Empire Imperial Stormtrooper Corps, or death. The Imperial Intelligence Agent had forced Michael to make this decision. A decision Michael would have gladly made if offered the choice before being prosecuted. Michael, realizing that the discipline and structure of enlisted life was just the thing he needed, chose to seize this wondrous opportunity, and accepted the Imperial Agent's offer. During the weeks leading up to his departure to the training facility, Michael had subjected himself to even more physical and mental training to prepare himself for the grueling Basic Training of the Imperial Stormtrooper Corps, which has to this day, only a 15% success rate.

Character's Personality[edit]

Michael, being subjected to military brainwashing throughout most of his life, has moderate psychological problems. Prone to bursts of laughter at random or getting extremely irritated at other people's habits. He always has a tired look on his face but his eyes are always alert and calculating. Michael prefers to where his 'bucket', unless told otherwise by his superior officers. Due to the constant military presence in his life, Michael has been convinced to fulfill any order given without question or hesitation. To obey, no matter what the order required, or how ever suicidal it was, to the letter. Michael has very few friends, and the ones he does have tease him about that fact, but they are true friends that don't, or didn't, since Michael was sent to basic training, care about his troubled past, and horrible upbringing. They accept him for who he is as an Imperial Stormtrooper instead of the gutter rat he was born as, but his underworld upbringing and terrible lineage doesn't really matter to Michael anyways. Because, to him, everyone except his superior officers and squad mates were expendable, and didn't get attached to anything for to long.
