The Valar-class Cruiser, also known as the RDA Command Cruiser or the Mon Calamari Star Destroyer, is a large Red Dragon Alliance capital ship, often used as a command ship by RDA fleets and considered to be an effective counter to standard Imperial Star Destroyers and their analogues among other factions. It was inspired by and partially based on blueprints for an experimental Star Destroyer class raided from the Mon Calamari shipyards. Many of the ships were subsequently produced at RDA shipyards around the Outer Rim, most notably at the Seragon Shipyards. Large numbers of these ships fought and were destroyed at the First Battle of Seragon.
