HG_Fury	I do.
HG_Fury	And we actually have a lot to report.
HG_Fury	First off, I want to thank all of you who have been working on squad websites.
HG_Fury	I would like either links to them or know when they (and any banners, etc.) have been uploaded to the domain.
HG_Fury	I presume most of you have seen Episode III already.
HG_Fury	If so, the following news will make some sense to you.
HG_Fury	I am announcing a ship naming contest that will run throughout the rest of this month and most of June.
HG_Fury	Details on Army Main ComNet but here are the basics.
HG_Fury	We have a Venator-class Star Destroyer as a new army support ship. It is the primary class of craft used by the Republic in the movie and is more a carrier than anything else.
HG_Fury	We will revamp it with the Mk.II TIE Droids coming online soon and use it with our regular forces as a transport/carrier.
HG_Fury	In any case, each person will be able to enter 5 suggested names for the craft.
HG_Fury	Winner gets $1,000,000 credits and a neat prize from Imperial Center.
HG_Fury	Also, somewhat because of the rush of new joins we are getting and the lack of success of getting them all through Drill, and also because of comments/questions from new members like Howmi Martin, I have a thread on Army Main to ask our new members what we could be doing better.
HG_Fury	The rest of you can add your two cents but I really want to see what the new folks are thinking as they've got the experience foremost in their minds.
HG_Fury	In other news, I am awaiting input and may be able to roll out a story later this week unless the squads have their own thing going.
HG_Fury	In the good news department, Merrick has passed her Officer's test and is now a Second Lieutenant. Congratulations to her. I want to plan for growth and am rewarding a couple of our most creative, unorthodox, but solid Corps supporting squad leaders with officer status. She is the first of them.
HG_Fury	I want to thank the SLs for submitting reports, either on ComNet or in my mailbox.
HG_Fury	It is much appreciated and thanks again for the good work you are doing.

ESN_Arturus	Alright, it was also a rather busy week in the navy
ESN_Arturus	The most important news, as most of you have probably seen from the front page, is that Aegis squadron has been reopened
ESN_Arturus	Chipmunk Man has taken command of that squadron and Jaden is the new XO
ESN_Arturus	Willtconq has been named the new flight leader in Kaph and Kaph's new XO
ESN_Arturus	Finally for roster movement, DJ234 has been named the new flight leader in Nazgul squadron
ESN_Arturus	As for other squadron activity, Nazgul is finishing up its vacation story and will be moving on shortly to a new one
ESN_Arturus	Nazgul is also undergoing some new changes and initiatives as Shazam moves to tidy up and perfect the squadron for the future, I believe this will also mean some new pieces to the website in addition to new ways of designing story missions and other initiatives to come
