History[edit]

Sojourn[edit]

The Sojourn was commissioned 13 standards years before the Battle of Endor. The first commander of the Sojourn was Line Captain Jason Bates, who had risen from humble beginnings on Handooine. The Sojourn was placed on a light patrol route through what is now the Eastern Territories, and made port at the Epsilon System. During the first Battle of Epsilon, the Sojourn's bridge portion was heavily damaged, killing Line Captain Bates and his entire bridge crew. The ship was brought to Kuat, where it was repaired and given a new captain, one Captain James von der Voodsen. Von der Voodsen, unlike his predecessor, was born to nobility on Lianna, being next in line to the dukedom of Fife (his father was the Duke of Fife).
