Characteristics[edit]

The Celestial is a Space Master-class Medium Transport, modified for combat duty against ships vastly larger than itself. Nearly every system on the ship has been modified, from the navigation systems and the main computer to the ship-board AI and the ship's hull.

Weapons[edit]

Four Quad-Plasma Burst Cannons, powered by refined zero-point energy on a separate power grid, are more than capable of burning a hole in most shields, including those on a Victory II-class Frigate.

Two missile pods flank the forward command section, each carrying a payload of 10 Mark-IV Tactical Nuclear Missiles. Each missile is capable of decimating the entire city of Iziz three times over, able to penetrate all civilian and most military planetary and shipboard shields, and most missile defense systems. However... their slow acceleration makes them an easy target for fighter defense screens and/or corvette escort.

Hyperdrive[edit]

The Celestial's hyperdrive system has been refitted with a BMR Mk-II Star Drive as the primary hyperdrive system. However, due to system complications, as well as intervention by the AI unit, the secondary hyperdrive, the galaxy-wide unclassified Froond-class Hyperdrive is the acting-primary hyperdrive until the necessary programming code is installed to bypass the AI Operations Program Code.

BMR Mk-II Star Drive[edit]

The second-generation of Star Drive technology, the BMR Mk-II Star Drive is the pinnacle of near-instantaneous wormhole travel. However, due to system complications and intervention of the AI unit, the BMR Mk-II Star Drive is inoperable. Range is inter-galactic.

Froond-class Hyperdrive[edit]

Unclassified by most of the known galaxy, the Froond-class Hyperdrive has been rated by the BMR as a Class 1.2 Hyperdrive, making it an ideal candidate as a back-up hyperdrive for most combat-duty BMR and Freelancer ships. Range is 15,000 lightyears.

Targeting Computer[edit]

The Celestial utilizes BMR V-8 Inter-Galactic Sensor Modules. The sensor modules have a range of 1,200 lightyears, designed in preparations for an inter-galactic ballistic missile in the event of a reconstruction of a planet-destroying weapon.

However... due to the inability to utilize such weaponry, the BMR V-8 Inter-Galactic Sensor Modules are being utilized as short-range sensors during combat, as well as long-range sensors during peaceful operations.

The BMR V-8 Inter-Galactic Sensor Modules are capable of tracking ships in hyperspace, as well as inside The Maw itself. However... they are incapable of tracking any hostiles underneath the Celestial, or outside of known space.

Reactor[edit]

The Celestial utilizes the Bimmiel Atomic Super-Collider Mk-IV. The reactor is capable of generating 3965193645.42 EJ/s (Exajoules per second), surpassing the Mk-II variant by triple the energy output. Only the one reactor (installed on the Celestial) is in existence, making the power output of the Celestial the equivalent of KDY itself.

Hull[edit]

Main Computer[edit]

Bimmiel Military Artificial Intelligence Super Computer[edit]

The Bimmiel Military Artificial Intelligence Super Computer is more or less a large mechanical brain. It has the processing power of the mainframes on KDY and Coruscant (not combined, that'd be ridiculous...), as well as being able to store 20 yottabytes (YB) of information. It requires all that processing power and memory to process every detail of every system on the ship, as well house the shipboard AI and process all of it's operations, not to mention processing all incoming and outgoing communications and surrounding communications.

AI System[edit]

None has been selected as of yet, but it has been speculated that the AI chosen will be one relatively close to the ship's commander.

History[edit]

Crew[edit]

The crew of the Celestial

Kara Moon[edit]

Kara is the young woman who happened on the near-unserviceable heap that is the Celestial. She managed to get the AI, Delta, operational and pilot the ship to a neutral port and get the ship restored to operational status.

As the Captain, Kara is using the Celestial as a mobile base of operations after she discovered the journal of the late-Supreme Commander of the Bimmiel Military, Cayden Tavers.

Delta[edit]

An AI programmed by Cayden, Delta is the pinnacle of BMR engineering, as well as the Celestial itself. Delta has masculine programming, and projects himself as a ball of green light.
