Mission Details[edit]

  • The Code “Tores Nores,” which was recieved after the death of the terrorist leader Alchamir, was carefully looked at by various intelligence agencies within the Vast Empire, including the Dark Jedi. According to the information provided, new fleets were arriving in the Ord Mantell system daily, and thousands in numbers, massing for an attack on the Vast Empire as either part of a concerted second wave or for independent operation as revenge for their own leader’s deaths. A meeting of the HC and DJ was called to decide when the VE would need to intervene. While the VE Troops are busy a large force goes to attack the HC at their base on Lotaith. The Invading fleet was largely made up of Pirate vessels small attack fighters and transports. The brunts of the command ships however were Imperial in design. Trailing the pack is a pair of modified Imperial Star Destroyers supplying the Ion Cannon Fire, and followed by an Executor-Class Super Star Destroyer. Ahead were several Lance Frigates, Escort Carriers and Nebulon-B Escort Frigates. Guarding them were about 5 VSDs and several Enforcer-class Picket Cruisers. It was a fleet designed for conquest and was well put together. General Anakin calls Lord Kaardoon of the FES to assist them in defending the base.

Events Prior to Mission[edit]

Objectives and Goals[edit]

Officer Objectives[edit]

  • Take control of the spaceports surrounding the Ord Mandell system to prevent incoming fleets from getting in the system. Capture/Destroy enemy bases of operations to prevent further attacks. Dark Jedi in command positions on Team 1 will join up shortly.
  • Take some dropships and quickly enter the atmosphere. Land in a couple valleys in the mountain ranges. Link up with some dissident miners who will aid you as scouts, spies, etc. and will put you up for awhile. The Dominion will stay in the system until needed and once you are established on the ground, will begin drops of heavy weapons and vehicles. Rely on quiet and stealth to achieve your goals initially. Use miner's clothing to move around. Remember that the plains you will be attacking and lowland grassy areas with little natural cover. Basically, your friends are in the hills, your enemy can see an AT-AT from 10 klicks away and you have ways of digging deep if you are counterattacked early

Iron Horse Objectives[edit]

One[edit]

  • Objective 1: Settled a scuffle between locals, then infiltrated a warehouse on the enemy military base. Disguised as a supply shipment IH will slip in the Warehouse and rescue two troopers. Take out gun turrents and set charges on the doors to get out. EIH, along with the miners, have managed to round up all the ranking personnel and intelligence files and have called for a transport. Basically its time for IH to get out and plan our attack on the main base. IH and RAIDERS round up the miners and make their way back to the home base. Fight their way to the ammunitions depot on the enemy base. Once there IH works with Wraith to take control of the enemy command center.

Two[edit]

  • Objective 2: pick your mission...fight in the field or help out the Dragoons. Iron Horse, Dark Dragoons, and Raiders get back onboard the Dominion. We have hired some merc escort ships...the Escort Carrier Thargor and the Gunships Xabbu and Wulgaru (random amount of ICs to who emails me first about where I got THOSE names) to protect the VSD enroute to a colony in the Outer Rim. For the next week you will be in communication's silence as you set up shop in the Julevian system. From the icy fifth planet you will prepare to assault a defensive starfighter factory on the third planet's largest moon. The other small moon of Dubrido (20 km in diameter) is home to a large turbolaser complex and can protect the factory up to 19 of the 22 hour day. Infiltrate and withdraw as needed. The planet Sernpidal itself is home to a Jedi academy of sorts for the enemy we face. Teaching under old Jedi rules most of the initiates are very young and unskilled. If given the time, take a team down, eradicate all resistance, recover artifacts, destroy the academy, and take as many raw talented children as you can for Dark Jedi training. A couple more things. Do NOT destroy Sernpidal...they do not know the academy exists.

Fallen Angels Objectives[edit]

One[edit]

  • Objective 1: Infiltrate an industrial target, Blow up coolant pumps, destroy the heat exchanger. Once that was complete they built a tunnel into the enemy command base, still using their disguise as mantenance workers. Injured but still determined, the Fallen Angels go out in search of the stationary launcher that must have launched the missile that hit the enemy base.

Two[edit]

  • Objective 2: Zellus A cold, rocky planetoid around a dying star, Zellus lies within the Chorios system of the Meridian Sector. This region of space is known to be a prime hazen for rebels and pirate forces. The reason for this lies in large pockets of highly radioactive clouds that make direct hyperspace travel dangerous. From Anobis, there are three primary mapped routes that Intelligence has obtained. One of them, Alpha, leads to the penal planet of Nam Chorios, which has been fairly neutral throughout the Civil War. While quick, it may entail many delays. Another, Beta, is of an untested, old route which may or may not be entirely safe. The third, Gamma, seems the quickest and most stable of routes. Zellus has been held by the enemy for a number of years as a protected haven for their agents. It is believed that any number of enemy leaders rotate through the planet at any given time. It is also considered a prime location for any forces escaping the fall of Anobis as it is a mere 29 to 46 hour journey at x2 hyperspace. utilizing the corvette Scythe and apparently the Sweetums as well. (Psst...don't forget that you have fighters onboard the Marauder.) They should continue this mission and try to get to the objective soon...or else the target(s) may just leave.

RAIDERS Objectives[edit]

One[edit]

  • Objective 1: Meet up with Team 2. RAIDERS are stationed in the forest surrounding the base with Dark Dragoons. Infiltrate enemy base while DD provide cover fire. Once inside the base provide cover fire for DD as they attempt to take the speeder bike warehouse to get some speeder bikes. RAIDERS take out a Tower, they succeed but as the tower falls it injures a few troopers. They are forced to call VEN in to help medevac the injured troopers to safety. IH and RAIDERS round up the miners and make their way back to the home base. RAIDERS join up with the Dark Dragoons who are already in position over the main enemy compound. Re-assymble on the Scythe.

Two[edit]

  • Objective 2: i want to see you work on hand-to-hand close combat with the enemy. Use any weapon you feel like smaller than an AT-AT. As far as anything goes...General Talon and I may assume the role of enemy forces from here on out...including the commander Argon developed. Iron Horse, Dark Dragoons, and Raiders get back onboard the Dominion. We have hired some merc escort ships...the Escort Carrier Thargor and the Gunships Xabbu and Wulgaru (random amount of ICs to who emails me first about where I got THOSE names) to protect the VSD enroute to a colony in the Outer Rim. Wraith Objectives[edit]

One[edit]

  • Objective 1: Attack training camps while the miners sweep outside the base. The squad splits up and some snipe and IH hijack the supply truck, Wraiths and a group of miners will then attack the base from the outside. Wraiths make it to the central building on the base, they were met with a large amount of resistance from enemy troops inside the base. Agent is hit and stranded just outside the building. Wraith with half of the Army Regulars attack the enemy base. They head out from the communications tower to attack the main building. The building would be bombarded by tanks then Wraiths would fall back to draw the enemy out, then both the tanks and the squad will move in to take out the remainder of the enemy forces. Wraiths work with IH to take control of the enemy command center.

Dark Dragoons[edit]

One[edit]

  • Objective 1: Stationed in the forest with RAIDERS. Use explosives and cover fire to support RAIDERS as they charge the base. After the defenses are compromised make an assault on the base. Hit the speeder bike warehouse and steal some bikes while RAIDERS provide support. In position over the main enemy compound. Five members are on speeder bikes and will be used as a distraction for the hoverscouts patrolling the base so that the RAIDERS can attack the base. Asymble on the Scythe.

  • Objective 2: you are assigned to occupy the main city on the planet. Lots of enemy troops have come into the city. Many snipers and pockets of resistance to take care of...kind of like Lotaith. Use whatever regulars you need to, but remember not to bomb the city into craters - we want the people on our side. Iron Horse, Dark Dragoons, and Raiders get back onboard the Dominion. We have hired some merc escort ships...the Escort Carrier Thargor and the Gunships Xabbu and Wulgaru (random amount of ICs to who emails me first about where I got THOSE names) to protect the VSD enroute to a colony in the Outer Rim.
