History[edit]
A distress call from the freighter Obskure, informed the Vast Empire Navy that it had been attacked and eventually destroyed by an unknown enemy. As the sixth ship raided en route to to delivering supplies the Imperial Center Store, the Navy devised a plan to reveal the mystery attackers. The method of attack was to send a seventh freighter, the Morpheus on the trade route, but replace the official with cargo with a squadron of Vast Empire modified TIE Interceptors (to be flown by Viper Squadron). The enemy would never know what hit them.

Outcome[edit]
Partway through their mission, the Morpheus was unexpectedly pulled out of hyperspace. Before even being able to respond and launch fighters, the freighter was boarded by the pirates, who turned out to be Imperial troops. Outnumbered, Viper Squadron continued to put up a valiant fight on board the freighter, before being contacted Captain Drego Rom of this enemy ship, the Herin who revealed the two Victory-class Star Destroyers in his arsenal. Warmaker complied to the surrender request, agreeing to board the Herin accompanied by Sheepy and Zed Zeon.
With the fate of the mission unknown and determined not to to lose another freighter, Fury gathered a fleet of his own. From aboard his flagship, the Lancer frigate Vehement his gathered craft consisted of the frigates Reload, Fortify, and Despot as well as a Super Transport VII, two Rin Assid bulk freighters, five Zuracos, three Brayls, and two VCX-350s not to mention two Tarlawyn freighters and an L-19 from neighbouring companies. These ships were later joined by the gunships Remnant and Scourge, as well as an old Kaloth Battlecruiser named the Scorekeeper's Favor.
Upon the Imperial Center fleet's arrival, it was discovered the enemy Victory-class Star Destroyers were the Vanquish and Exterminator, stolen from the Vast Empire's shipyards most likely by a disgruntled military group within VE space. A battle ensued and both sides took heavy losses.

- The Vanquish also suffered alot of damage, presumed to set back the pirates several months.
The main objectives were successful, though the price was high.
After Effects[edit]
The attempted raid on the Morpheus and ensuing battle revealed to the Vast Empire the presence of treason of a massive scale within Vast Empire controlled space.
