Imperial Center Defense Forces[edit]
The ICDF is a necessary reaction by the corporation to market pressures, pirates, and heated rivalries by other companies. ICDF personnel consist of corporate and military espionage agents, merchant marines, shipboard combat marine forces, escort fleets, and the new Anti-Piracy Task Force. The APTF consists of line vessels used for the sole purpose of attacking rival and enemy installations that work against IC commercial ventures.
While not political in nature, the ICDF as a whole is designed to protect corporate assets. Apart from primary commercial outposts and manufacturing complexes, the ICDF provides maintenance, repair, and supply depots through the galaxy in the form of "stations", which are armed outposts on friendly planets or remote facilities in various regions of space.

Shocktroopers[edit]
On occassion, ICS has had to resort to "aggressive negotiations" to deal with issues of piracy, illegal tariff holds, aggressive market takeover defenses, and other elements of business that occur outside of a boardroom.
While a strong defensive posture and armed delivery convoys may prevent the lone wolves from picking at our shipping, we are also prepared for a more confrontational and personal approach. ICS Shocktroopers are trained infantry specialists who can handle both boarding and ground-based tactical warfare.
Equipped with the latest in military equipment, and clad in an altered kit reminiscent of Zann Corporation Defiler armor, they are a formidable adversary for even standing military forces.
